Liverpool FC: Borussia Dortmund Manager Jurgen Klopp Turns Down Move to Anfield
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has rejected interest from Liverpool over the club's vacant managerial job, Sky Sports reports.
Klopp is flattered to be considered for high-profile jobs, but has no intention of leaving the Bundesliga champions at this time, as he made clear with the following comments:
"I have been made aware of interest from England, and it is an honour to be linked with big clubs in the Premier League.
But I have a contract with Dortmund until 2016 and am going nowhere. I love it here and have no intention of changing clubs.

Klopp, 44, did a wonderful job with Dortmund this season, leading a young squad to a league title. His club also defeated Bundesliga powers Bayern Munich, 5-2, in the German league cup final.
Goal.com reported earlier this week that Wigan manager Roberto Martinez will meet with Liverpool owners in Boston next week. Former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is also a candidate for the vacant manager job at Anfield, according to Goal.com.
The fact of the matter is that the Liverpool job isn't very desirable right now. Why would Klopp come to the Reds and give up the chance to manage in the Champions League with Dortmund? Liverpool also don't have the same amount of young talent that Dortmund do.
This was a smart decision by Klopp, who is far better off staying with Dortmund and continuing his success in Germany.
Liverpool need an experienced manager, preferably one with Premier League experience. Klopp is a fine manager, but he's not the man the Merseyside club need.
