Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With the fourth overall pick in the 2009 Bleacher Report NFL Mock Draft, the Seattle Seahawks have selected...Michael Crabtree; Wide Receiver, Texas Tech.
The Cleveland Browns are now on the clock.
Michael Crabtree dominated the selection process, receiving over 60% of the overall vote. The Seahawks have added the biggest offensive weapon in the draft to their arsenal for 2009.
Now the attention is turned to the Cleveland Browns, who couldn't live up to lofty expectations in 2008. After going 10-6 in 2007, the Browns were the sexy pick to represent the AFC, but issues at quarterback and on defense brought Cleveland down.
Since going 5-11, Cleveland fired Romeo Crennel as head coach, replacing him with former New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini.
In no specific order, here are what I think are the Browns' top needs heading into draft day.
1. Outside Linebacker
2. Cornerback
3. Running Back
4. Safety
5. Right Tackle
Cleveland fans, now is your chance to sound off on this topic. Who will your team take come draft day? You make the call, so vote in the poll for the best candidate for the fifth overall pick.
1. Malcolm Jenkins; Cornerback, Ohio State
Jenkins is the top cornerback in the draft. Big and physical, Jenkins was a four-year starter for the Buckeyes, and has consistently proven to be a dominant corner. Cleveland has one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, and an upgrade to start alongside Eric Wright is needed.
2. Aaron Maybin; Outside Linebacker, Penn State
Kamerion Wimbley has not lived up to the expectartions since his big rookie campaign, and 37-year old Willie McGinnest is on the downside of his career. Maybin is considered one of, if not the best, pass rushing hybrid DE/OLB's in the draft. He would be an instant upgrade to the Browns' defense.
3. Chris Wells; Running Back, Ohio State
This is a little high for Wells, but he has the hometown connection, and Cleveland is in need of a playmaker at the running back position. Wells is a very physical runner who has a good second gear.
4. Knowshon Moreno; Running Back, Georgia
Again, this may be a little high to take Moreno, but he should be a candidate nonetheless. He could have a Reggie Bush-type of an impact at the next level, and would be a great change of pace back for the Browns.
5. Brian Orakpo; Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Texas
Orakpo doesn't have great experience in a 3-4 defense, but there is no question he has the pass rushing abilities. He is the top defensive end in the draft, and has the size and versatility to make the switch to a 3-4.
6. Everette Brown; Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Florida State
Brown is another one of those hybrid defensive ends that could fit into a 3-4 defense, which is a major area of need in Cleveland. He has great speed and quickness, and is a physical marvel.
There you have it Cleveland fans! Vote now for who you think should be the fifth pick in this year's draft!
