Aaron Curry, Outside Linebacker, Wake Forest.

The Seattle Seahawks are now on the clock.

In the closest poll battle we have had yet, Aaron Curry outlasted Michael Crabtree and Chiefs fans chose him as the number three pick in the draft.

Curry joins Derrick Johnson in what could form the league's top duo of young outside linebackers.

Now we look to the underachieving Seattle Seahawks, who, despite their roster looking good on paper, didn't live up to expectations in 2008.

Injuries were battled throughout the season, and this team lost its longtime head coach to boot. This pick could turn out to be a unanimous one, but here are what I think are Seattle's top needs heading into the draft, in no particular order.

1.  Wide Receiver

2.  Offensive Tackle/Guard

3.  Safety

4.  Running Back

5.  Quarterback

Will Seattle do what is expected and take Texas Tech WR Michael Crabtree?

You make the call, so vote in the poll for who you think should be picked number four overall by the Seattle Seahawks.

(In no specific order)

1.  Michael Crabtree, Wide Receiver, Texas Tech

It appears as though this is the logical pick for the Seahawks.

For years, this team has craved a true number one receiver, and has missed on a number of occasions.  Crabtree is quite possibly the top talent in the draft, and would be the top receiver Seattle needs.

2.  Jason Smith, Offensive Tackle, Baylor

Smith is arguably the most athletic offensive tackle in the draft.

He is a converted tight end who has great feet. His best years are still far ahead of him.

Kyle Williams may not be the answer for the Seahawks, and Walter Jones isn't getting any younger.

3.  B.J. Raji, Defensive Tackle, Boston College

Seattle has a couple of good young defensive tackles already, but Raji is the best defensive player available at this point.

He is dominant with his great size and excellent athleticism. He can rush the passer, and is very effective against the run. His stock rose dramatically at the Senior Bowl.

4.  Matthew Stafford, Quarterback, Georgia

There is always an outside shot of Seattle looking to the quarterback position here.  A rocket-armed young signal caller may be just what this team needs to turn around their fortunes for 2009.

5.  Knowshon Moreno, Running Back, Georgia

Let me just start off by saying that this would be much, much too high for Moreno, but Seattle won't be able to get him later without stockpiling a bunch of draft picks to give away in a trade.

Moreno is a pure playmaker, and could elevate his stock at the combine.  Julius Jones clearly isn't the answer at the position for Seattle.

6.  Mark Sanchez, Quarterback, USC

Since I included Stafford in this mix, I feel it's only fair to include Sanchez.

He has the most experience in an NFL-style offense, and he ran it very well for USC.  Seattle needs to look to the future at quarterback, and the future could be Sanchez.

There you have it Seahawks fans!  Vote now for who you think should be your team's first-round pick!
