The Future of the Beckham Children: Where Will They Play Their Football?
Quite possibly one of the most well known faces in world football, David Beckham has risen from an East London up-bringing to worldwide football success—but what does the future hold for his three sons?
The ex-England captain started his career at Brimsdown Rovers in West London before being snapped up at the age of 14 by Manchester United.
He went on to become a regular starter for Alex Ferguson and was a major part of the infamous "Fergie's Fledglings."

The fledglings were a group of Manchester United players that came up through United's youth system during the early '90s and also included Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, and the Neville brothers.
After winning six league titles, two FA Cups, and a Champions League winners medal with United in his 10 years with the club, Beckham was sold to Real Madrid for a reported £25 million in 2003.
It took just three minutes of his La Liga debut to score his first goal, and he went on to win a La Liga winners medal and a Spanish Super Cup in his four years with Real Madrid before his much publicised transfer to American based, MLS club, LA Galaxy.
Beckham has recently trained with Arsenal and is currently on loan with AC Milan in order to maintain fitness during the MLS offseason. He has said it was a "dream" to play for the Italian giants and has strongly hinted his desire to stay in Milan.
David Beckham has also played 107 times for his country—one of only five players to achieve 100 caps for England—and he managed an impressive 58 games as England captain.
During his rise to worldwide stardom, David Beckham has established himself as an outstanding professional and role model with a great amount of charity work which includes the opening of his own football academies all over the world.
He has three sons with his wife, Victoria, and all three of the young Beckham boys look like they have the possibility to follow in their fathers footsteps—but where will they begin their careers if they choose to become footballers?
England: Manchester United
David, and both of his parents in particular, are keen followers of Man United and they would regularly travel to games from their London home during David's childhood.
With such strong ties to the club thanks to his many years with them, David's three sons stand a good chance of being able to trial for the youth system—if, of course, they happen to possess the same football abilities of their father.
This would mean that the family would have to relocate back to England from their current Beverley Hills residence in America.
England: Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham
With both Brooklyn and Romeo being born in London, they may choose to go back to their roots and begin their careers with any number of established Premier League teams.
With the Beckham's still owning their £7.5 million estate in Hertfordshire, it would be easy for the family to settle back in to life in England.
England: Liverpool
Like alot of children, Romeo may rebel against his father and choose to play for Manchester United's fierce football rivals, Liverpool, in order to get back at him—although this is incredibly unlikely.
Spain: Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona
The youngest of the three, Cruz—which means "cross" in Spanish—was born in Madrid during Davids time with Spanish Legends, Real Madrid.
Spain has a strong football legacy and fantastic weather, so its possible their youngest may wish to return to his birthplace and make a name for himself in Spanish football.
With such an iconic father, it's not hard to imagine that any of the three Beckham boys will not get a good opportunity with many top clubs, if they prove they have the talent with a ball.
Cruz is also eligible to play for the Spanish national team if he believes he might get a better chance at success on the international stage.
Italy: AC Milan or Inter Milan
With David Beckham stating his desire to stay in Italy and play for Milan—as well as AC Milan's well known fitness regime that has extended the careers of many top stars—Brooklyn or Romeo may be coming to the age to join a youth academy whilst their father is still playing for the Italian club.
The boys may want to forge a career with one of the biggest clubs on the planet and make a name for themselves in Italy before moving back to England in the future.
America: LA Galaxy
If David Beckham sees out his Galaxy contract, Romeo may begin his youth career in America before the family decide to relocate back to England once David's career reaches an end—in what AC Milan doctors have claimed could be in another five years.
Whatever happens and where ever the Beckham boys choose to play their football, the world will be watching their every move and in the end, their careers may become as famous as their fathers—or possibly bigger.
