Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich: Ronaldo Wise to Be Wary After Clasico Triumph
Saturday's big win aside, Real Madrid still has a lot of work to do to keep its Champions League dreams alive, and now the pressure is on.
Real will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League semifinals on Wednesday, and down 2-1, there is no time to celebrate Saturday's victory over Barcelona.
Instead, Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of his Real teammates are contemplating how they can survive Wednesday's test after losing to Bayern on the road a week ago. The winner advances to the final in May, and if Real wins, it gets the tiebreaker because it scored in last week's loss.

The odds are good for Real, which has a perfect record at home—but still, it can't take anything for granted.
Ronaldo told ESPNSoccernet.com that, heading into the matchup, Bayern's attackers are the most worrisome:
"The players who play up front concern us most. Gomez is one of the leading goalscorers in the Champions League, and [Franck] Ribery and [Arjen] Robben are also very dangerous. They are very good up front, and at the back as well, but we have to be focused on the four in attack because it is one of them who will make the difference.
"
Ribery and Robben are dangerous, yes—but in a positive turn of events for Real, Bayern's team chemistry is now in question.
According to Goal.com, Ribery and Robben were involved in a dressing room melee at halftime during their win over Real last Tuesday. Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes declined to comment in the interest of keeping any conflict behind closed doors.
Behind-the-scenes drama aside, Ronaldo is correct to be wary of Wednesday's battle, which carries serious implications for his team. As Real proved with Saturday's win over Barca, it can win when the pressure is on.
Ronaldo also knows that if this team was capable of scoring on the road against Bayern last week, it can do even better at home this time around. He told ESPNSoccernet.com:
"We know that Bayern, after the first leg, are to going to play on the counter-attack, but we also believe that they are going to have a lot of respect for us because we are playing at home. I hope we reach the final because it is very important to us players, to Real Madrid and to our fans throughout the world.
"
Just like it did this weekend against Barca, Real will simply have to win, because there's no room for mistakes and no other option.
