Scouting Report
Strengths
Brown is big at 6’5” and 256 pounds, strong with 26 reps of the 225-pound bench press and quick with 4.47 and 7.44 times in the shuttle and cone drills. He's also extremely quick around the edge and creates solid pressure on the quarterback.
Brown does have a nose for the football when it's out and has been an impact player for Clemson for four years despite only starting for one. He’s a high character guy and won’t create problems off the field and is a hard worker, but just isn’t a football talent.
Weaknesses
Brown is unproductive and is purely a raw athlete with very little football technique.
The Clemson defensive lineman is not a productive player, especially in the pass rush and can get run over in the running game.
Brown is considered a true project and will require a lot of patience and coaching.
Overview
Brown is more than likely a priority free agent and would likely be a seventh-round pick if he had more production.
An unproductive athlete with football potential, Brown needs a lot of coaching to get to being a starting caliber player.
How He Would Fit into the Falcons' Plans
Brown would be a late-round pick in the sixth or even seventh rounds and would be an excellent fit in the locker room with his personality.
An instant impact player, Brown will be great on special teams and could challenge for time in the rotation.
