Marian Hossa Injury: Updates on Blackhawks Star's Head Injury
Marian Hossa will reportedly not be on the ice for the Chicago Blackhawks' next game against the Phoenix Coyotes.
He is still recovering from a viscous blow by Raffi Torres that occurred in the first period in Game 3 of their playoff series on Tuesday.
The Chicago Sun-Times' Adam Jahns tweeted the update:

"Marian Hossa won't play tomorrow. He's at home resting, Quenneville said. #Blackhawks

Just the fact that there is even reason to speculate on his playing status is a positive. Hossa's head took the majority of the force from this massive hit.
He immediately slumped to the ice as he lost consciousness. Medical staff rushed out as concern fell over players and onlookers.
Hossa was taken from the ice on a stretcher before being taken from the arena in an ambulance. It is understood that he did not stay in the hospital long. Meanwhile, the team doctor has revealed that test results were "encouraging."
His absence is certainly a big blow to the Blackhawks, who now trail 2-1 in the series. Hossa is their leading scorer.
Meanwhile, per Renaud Lavoie, Torres has been suspended indefinitely pending an in-person meeting on April 20.
