Ryan RudnanskyJun 7, 2018

The Portsmouth Invitational: Where Borderline NBA Draft Picks Flourish.

That may as well have been the theme at the 2012 Portsmouth Invitational, as numerous college seniors boosted their NBA draft stock tremendously with dazzling performances.

Here's a look at the three NBA prospects most likely to get drafted on June 28.

3. Ricardo Ratliffe, PF, Missouri

Ricardo Ratliffe averaged 13.9 points and 7.5 rebounds at Missouri last season, then went on to average 12.7 points and 9.7 boards at the Portsmouth Invitational, earning All Tournament Team honors.

Ratliffe doesn't have much of a perimeter game, and he's not the most explosive of athletes, but his efficiency in the paint this season (nearly 70 percent from the field), combined with his never-ending motor, has NBA scouts eying the 6'8", 240-pounder.

2. JaMychal Green, PF, Alabama

JaMychal Green averaged 14.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks at Alabama, becoming one of the Crimson Tide's core players during their run to the NCAA tournament.

At Portsmouth, Green boosted his stock tremendously, averaging 19.3 points (tied for second among all competitors) and 9.7 rebounds while shooting nearly 64 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line.

Green has the length and athleticism to hold his own in the NBA and he's a good finisher at the rim and solid shot-blocker.

1. Kyle O'Quinn, C, Norfolk State

The invitational MVP, Kyle O'Quinn continued his rise in Portsmouth. After scoring 26 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in Norfolk State's upset of No. 2 seed Missouri in the NCAA tournament, O'Quinn dominated the invitational, averaging 11.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.6 blocks in three games.

O'Quinn showed that he could be a sleeper this year in the NBA draft, exhibiting the skills to potentially be a regular double-double threat in the pros. He has the size and athleticism to compete in the NBA and he's producing.
