Ohio State Spring Game: Buckeyes' Braxton Miller Shows Promise Ahead of Big Game
Ohio State is in the midst of a huge transition the size of Urban Meyer's reputation, and it's just now showing signs or promise.
The Buckeyes' spring game is coming up, and that gives us our first real look at how this team will fare in the new Meyer era.
They have a young quarterback that is feeling out the new system and a head coach that is trying to build a winner with a new quarterback.
You can see all the action on April 21, but the team is making great inroads through limited spring practices so far.
Here is crucial information for OSU's spring game:

Doug Lesmerises of The Plain-Dealer reports on the Buckeyes' most recent practice and how promising the new offense looks.
"Meyer was most excited by the offense, which beat the defense in a practice scrimmage for the first time. This scrimmage focused on third-down execution, with third-and-five situations repeated. Meyer said the offense had a 70 or 80 percent success rate before the defense battled back.
"
The progress wasn't lost on Meyer, who is building from the ground up, via Cleveland.com.
"That's our best practice of the spring, one of the best practices I've seen. The intensity level was an A. Competitiveness was an A. Coaching was an A by our assistant coaches. Execution is obviously not an A, but it doesn't have to be right now.
"
The report also has high praise for Braxton Miller, the quarterback that is tasked with making Meyer's inaugural season as head coach a successful one.
Miller is hoping to build on a 2011 season wherein he took limited snaps but showed flashes of brilliance.
With just 157 passing attempts, Miller amassed 1,159 yards and 13 touchdowns with only four picks thrown.
The Buckeyes QB showed a great ability to throw on the move and make plays out of seemingly nothing.
There is still a ton of work that needs to be done, and Meyer is the first person to acknowledge that, but the Buckeyes are looking strong heading into the spring game, giving hope that 2012 will be truly special.
