2012 NFL Draft: Biggest Draft Need for Every NFC West Team
The NFC West is no longer a laughingstock, but there are still plenty of holes to fill on rosters around the division. What are the largest on each team?
The St. Louis Rams have needs on the offensive line, at wide receiver, backup running back and quarterback, not to mention defensive tackle and cornerback depth, but no need is larger than outside linebacker. Free-agent pickup Jo-Lonn Dunbar was a nice surprise for the Saints last year, and he should start, but the other two OLBs on the roster, Josh Hull and Justin Cole, are marginal NFL players.
The Arizona Cardinals have the worst pair of offensive tackles in the league, hands down. Levi Brown was brought back on a basically a one-year, one million-dollar deal, but his rating as a pass blocker from Pro Football Focus is 75th out of 76 offensive tackles, which makes you wonder if he is even worth that. Right Tackle Jeremy Bridges gave up seven sacks last year even though he didn't start for over half of the season. The Cardinals can't go into the season with this weak pair of bookends.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Seattle Seahawks will look to upgrade at offensive guard and pass-rushing defensive end in the draft, but those needs are overshadowed by an inexperienced linebacker corps. David Hawthorne left for New Orleans, and Leroy Hill might not be brought back, so the team needs to find two new starters. Free agent pickup Barrett Ruud is just a stopgap.
The San Francisco 49ers made sure that they returned all 11 defensive starters and locked up a starting quarterback, wide receiver, and short-yardage running back in free agency. What they didn't do is upgrade the right side of their offense line. Right Tackle Anthony Davis was Pro Football Focus's 48th best pass blocker out of 60 tackles who played at least 60% of their team's snaps, and right guard Adam Snyder (who has since left for Arizona in free agency) was 56th out of 58th offensive guards.
