Recent Draft History: What the Tennessee Titans Can Expect in the 2012 NFL Draft
Over the next few days, I'll be looking at the picks the teams in the AFC South have and comparing them to what kinds of players have been taken at that slot in recent years. Too often, fans have unrealistic expectations of what draft picks turn out to be.
I expect the list of players selected at each spot to be a sobering wake-up call to the kind of talent each team can actually expect to add.
Up first is the Tennessee Titans.

Analysis
Wow. You don't expect the 20th pick to yield so little talent, but year after year it does. There are some solid players on this list, but the closest ones to stars are Peyton Hillis and Aqib Talib.
Titans fans should be aware that while the draft brings hope, if you are picking in the back half of the first round, it doesn't always bring talent.
