Brock Lesnar: Why He Will One Day Regain the WWE Championship
It's hard to say that the return of Lesnar to the WWE came as a surprise, considering the way his health issues forced him out of the UFC after a very impressive, although short, career. It's hard to imagine in this day and age any other professional wrestler being that successful in the octagon, which is highly commendable.
Lesnar is on his way to become a heel in the WWE, and that is probably the proper route for him to take. Here are a few reasons why it won't be long until he regains the WWE title.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
On the business side of things, there are not many hardcore fans in both the WWE and the UFC, they are competing industries for obvious reasons. If Brock Lesnar were to once again rise to the top of the food chain in the WWE, it is likely that UFC fans will tune into the pay-per-view and watch, especially if they were Lesnar fans when he was fighting under Dana White.
Lesnar has proved that he can perform in both rings, and although there is a lot of history of WWE wrestlers being successful in other types of fighting or wrestling (Kurt Angle comes to mind), no other athlete was more publicized in both worlds than Lesnar. When he retired in 2011 from the UFC, he was still the fifth-ranked heavyweight in the world, had an immense following and was arguably the most recognizable face in ultimate fighting.
One of the ways that the WWE can expand its audience, which is already enormous, is to attract fans from different areas of fighting. Can you imagine if Floyd Mayweather (huge reach I know) were to cross over into the WWE at one point? Boxing fans would have to tune in to see how he performed. UFC fans will do the same with Lesnar if he makes it all the way back to the top.
His Finisher
Brock Lesnar simply has one of the best finishers in the WWE today. If you look back at all the popular past champions, they all had great finishers. Rock bottom, the Stone Cold Stunner, the Pedigree—all great finishers, and that is one aspect that gets fans excited. The F-5 is simply electrifying and takes an insane amount of athletic ability.
Although I love the Irish Curse, lets just say that Sheamus ends up holding on to his title for a while and eventually faces Lesnar in a title match. What do you think fans want to see more: the F-5 or the Irish Curse? It's a tough call...but my vote is for the F-5.
The Down Fall of John Cena
John Cena went from one of the most beloved superstars to one that constantly storms in to constant boos. Now that the match at Extreme Rules between Cena and Lesnar is official, it's really hard to believe that Cena is going to come out on top. The story line just doesn't make any sense.
I sense there will be a Cena comeback eventually, but not anytime soon. For Lesnar to come back to the WWE, immediately book a huge match and then lose? It just won't happen. Cena is going to stay around, and everyone knows that. What the WWE should do is try to make the juice worth the squeeze (shoutout to The Girl Next Door for the quote).
Lesnar's health is already poor—hell, he almost died. His comeback will hopefully last all the way to Wrestlemania, where he could possibly face the Undertaker if he seeks going after a 21st victory. But after he defeats Cena, he will immediately fly into title contention, and he will get a shot.
WWE Fans Love Former Champions
I do believe that Lesnar will become a heel, but not if the title is on the line. Two words: The Rock.
Now I know that Lesnar is not even close to having the same legacy that The Rock did...but he still had an impact. The WWE and their fans love it when people come back and book huge matches. Considering that Lesnar is already facing Cena, like the Rock did at Wrestlemania, the next big thing is a title shot.
It will be Lesnar's last hurrah in the WWE, and hopefully he will make his stay a long and healthy one. Imagine it now, Lesnar on the turnbuckle raising the belt...because it will happen, and for the WWE, it should happen.
