WWE Wrestlemania 28: What's Next for Winners at Big Event?

Brian MaziqueJun 1, 2018

WrestleMania was feast or famine for many of the major names involved. There were the highs of The Rock and Undertaker's victories, and then there was the 18-second slap in the face that Daniel Bryan endured.

There seemed to be no middle ground.

WrestleMania 28 put a period on the feuds of many of the winners

Where do they go from here?

CM Punk

CM Punk still has some loose ends to tie up with Chris Jericho, especially after Y2J busted a bottle of Jack Daniels over his head on Raw.

Still, I can't see this lasting for an extended period of time.

Rumors are flying about a feud with Lord Tensai, and I'm honestly ready for Punk to move on to something else.

The Rock

The Great One will now make his exit, and he won't be returning until the next major pay-per-view.

That, of course, is SummerSlam, where I envision a 2002 SummerSlam rematch with the returning Brock Lesnar.

After defeating Randy Orton with a spectacular chokeslam off the top rope, the Big Red Machine appears to be in limbo. He deserves to have his identity crisis solved by the WWE.

The end could be near, and a feud with someone like Lord Tensai could be epic, but he'll likely have to wait in line for that one.

The Big Show

Show came out and taunted Cody Rhodes on Raw, but I pray this was just to bring closure to their ridiculous feud.

I'd much rather see him in a feud with Jack Swagger, but we'll probably see another lackluster pairing with someone like David Otunga.

Just kidding.

Sheamus

It is pretty obvious that Sheamus is headed for a nice feud with Alberto Del Rio. This is exciting as these two could deliver some truly awesome in-ring moments.

What a co-main event that would be at SummerSlam.

The Undertaker

I can't imagine the Undertaker being launched into a feud at this point in his career. For him, it's all about WrestleMania.

I wouldn't expect to see him a lot until around this time next year.

He has said he doesn't want to retire with the streak in tact, so the WWE must now decide which superstar is worthy of breaking it.
