NCAA Championship 2012: Bold Predictions for March Madness Finale
March Madness was compelling enough, but now we're in April, and it's time for the two remaining contestants to duke it out in one final show of guts and skill for the NCAA Championship.
The Kansas Jayhawks and Kentucky Wildcats are getting ready for the finale as we speak.
Here are three bold predictions for what is sure to be an epic game to cap off an epic season of college basketball.

The Points Total Between the Two Teams will Exceed 160
This game is going to be fast-paced. Both teams look to run off of rebounds and turnovers, and both teams have the athletes to keep up the pace all game long.
Don't let Kansas' tournament fool you. They had some low-scoring games for sure, but that had more to do with their competition than anything else. During the regular season, the Jayhawks scored 75 points per game (36th in nation).
Kentucky always wants to run up the score, so you know they're ready to jump in on the action.
The only thing that could possibly derail this prediction is if the referees decide to call the game real tight and the whistle dominates the action.
Anthony Davis is Going to Score More Than 20 Points, Pull Down 15-Plus Rebounds and Block at Least Five Shots
Davis is going to be geeked to prove himself as one of the greatest college players of all-time with an epic performance on the grandest stage of all.
It's not really much of a stretch to say he'll hit these marks, either.
Davis' tournament averages: 15.2 points per game, 11.6 rebounds per game and 4.6 rebounds per game.
It will take an inspired performance for Davis to meet my goals, but I'm confident he will come through with one for the ages.
Kentucky Will Win the Game by More than 15 points
Boom.
The Jayhawks are no match for the dominant presence of Davis in the paint. They have no player on their roster that will be able to handle his size and energy, let alone his incredible talent.
Thomas Robinson will find himself outmatched from the opening tip, and that individual battle will tilt the outcome of the game heavily in favor of the Wildcats.
All it will take is for someone like Michale Kidd-Gilchrist or Doron Lamb to catch fire from the outside, and Kentucky will be done lone before the closing horn.
