WrestleMania 28 Card: The Undertaker vs. Triple H Will Own the Show
WrestleMania XXVIII is all about the long-awaited showdown between John Cena and The Rock, which WWE has gone to great lengths to promote as "the most anticipated WrestleMania clash in history."
Since I'm looking forward to watching it, I'm not going to sit here and try to sell everyone on the idea that John Cena vs. The Rock is the most overhyped match in WrestleMania history. I kinda want to just for kicks, but then I'd just be trolling and (I think) I'm better than that.
What I will say as this: I'm looking forward to the Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Triple H just as much as I'm looking forward to John Cena vs. The Rock. It's going to be a humdinger.

The showdown between The Undertaker and Triple H stands out just as much is because it doesn't feel quite as forced as the event's headlining match, which was arrived at by a simple formula: superstar + superstar + year of hype = awesome. The Undertaker and Triple H share a history of WrestleMania matches, having grappled at WrestleMania in 2001 and again last year.
The seed for this year's match was planted at last year's match, and watching and waiting for it to come together was actually, you know, interesting. Building it up as a clash between two aging stars in the twilight of their careers makes it have a kind of Darth Vader vs. Ben Kenobi feel (sans lightsabers, though that would be awesome). There are legacies truly on the line here, which makes this match one of those semi-rare occasions where it's easy to believe that there is something legitimate at stake.
Obviously, the streak plays a huge part in this, and The Undertaker's legacy is tied directly to it. He's either going to leave Miami as the greatest WrestleMania performer in history, or as a broken old man who has been robbed of the single biggest bullet point on his resume. And worse, he will have been broken by a dude who fancies himself as a pencil-pusher.
Because there are no guarantees that The Undertaker will be back after this match, I personally doubt that WWE would have the cojones to have Triple H actually win the match, thus simultaneously destroying A) the streak itself and B) any chance of The Undertaker getting his revenge. Surely WWE won't do one of the sport's legends like that, right?
It just might. Having Triple H win this match opens up more far more storylines than having The Undertaker win it, and that will be in WWE's best interest moving forward after the fact.
The tremendous amount of uncertainty over how WWE is going to play The Undertaker vs. Triple H match makes it a can't-miss. It's therefore pretty remarkable that the Hell in a Cell aspect and Shawn Michaels as the guest referee come off as icing on the cake, as those two things are worthy of lengthy discussions in and of themselves.
So by the time this match is over, the combined craziness of the whole thing is going to have people talking (and tweeting) for a long time.
A lot longer, I'll wager, than people will be talking about WrestleMania's headlining event.
