10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Francisco Liriano, SP, Minnesota Twins
Liriano is a true enigma. He has shown he has the stuff to be a top of the rotation pitcher. You just never know what you are going to get.
He is ready for a bounce back season. Liriano is healthy and he turned in a solid spring by posting a 2.45 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and .231 opponents' batting average.
If he can stay healthy, he can post those numbers for the season. This is a guy with All-Star potential.
Freddie Freeman, 1B, Atlanta Braves
Freeman is entering his second full major league season, and he does so after a solid rookie campaign where he hit .282 with 21 home runs and 76 RBI.
His biggest problem as a rookie was making contact. He struck out 142 times. That number should improve as he continues to adapt to major league pitching.
Freeman struggled at the beginning of spring training as he dealt with some injury issues, but he closed strong and ended up hitting .262 with 12 RBI.
As long as Freeman stays healthy a .290 avg., 28 home run and 100 RBI is well within reach.
Jason Kipnis, 2B, Cleveland Indians
Kipnis is a fantastic option at second base. The few legitimate fantasy producers at this position will be going early, and Kipnis has the potential to come close to their output.
Kipnis was solid after being called-up last season before getting hurt. He registered 136 major league at-bats, he batted .272 and added 24 runs, seven HRs, 19 RBI and five stolen bases.
He struggled a bit this spring, but that is not too concerning. He will get plenty of at-bats this season and he will produce. He was a .300 hitter in the minors and showed he could handle major league pitching last year.
