South Carolina Football: Reaction and Analysis of Gamecocks' Pro Day
The eyes of the NFL world turned to Columbia on Wednesday, when South Carolina held its annual Pro Day for draft eligible players. With Stephon Gilmore, Melvin Ingram and Alshon Jeffery all being mentioned as possible first-round picks, there were impressions to be made.

You know those concerns about wide receiver Alshon Jeffery? Throw them out the window. The SEC Blog profiled Jeffery last week, and detailed the concerns about his weight, among other things. That doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. Jeffery measured in at 6'2", 213 pounds. But more important than the weight, Jeffery clocked a 4.38 in his first attempt at the 40-yard dash, and followed it up with 4.47 according to ESPN's Kevin Weidl. Weidl clarified that the latter of the two times was probably more accurate.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That was enough for Bleacher Report's NFL Draft Lead Blogger Sigmund Bloom of B/R's Huge Upside blog. Bloom welcomed Jeffery back to the first round after his performance at South Carolina's Pro Day.
One of the notable participants of South Carolina's Pro Day was former quarterback Stephen Garcia. Garcia was dismissed from the team in October of last year after a series of arrests and questionable off-the-field decisions. While the results on the field were important, his attitude off of it was probably more important to NFL scouts.
According to Josh Kendall, South Carolina beat reporter for The State, Garcia isn't holding a grudge.
Defensive back Stephon Gilmore did not run the 40-yard dash, which was probably a good idea after he clocked a 4.40 at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis in February.
