WrestleMania 28: 3 Reasons Why This Year's Event Is Worth Your Money
It's fair to say that the past few WrestleManias have been disappointing, and because of that, some wrestling fans may be gun shy in terms of ordering WrestleMania XXVIII on Sunday. There is nothing worse than spending hard-earned money on a dud of a show, but this year's WrestleMania has the potential to be the best in a long time.
There is no way to guarantee that WrestleMania XXVIII will be a success, but it would seem to be the closest thing to a sure bet that we have had over the past several years. With that in mind, I have no problem telling you, with confidence that you should take a leap of faith and purchase WrestleMania XXVIII this weekend.

Here are three reasons why WrestleMania XXVIII will ultimately be worth your money.
The Card Has Great Depth
The biggest problem with the past few WrestleManias has been a lack of great matches outside of one or two main events. This year's card has four legitimately great matches, however, in Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus, CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, The Undertaker vs. Triple H and The Rock vs. John Cena. All of them have the capability of closing out a show, but luckily, they will all take place on the same card, making this a can't-miss WrestleMania.
The winner of Bryan vs. Sheamus looks poised to be a star in the business for years to come, while Punk and Jericho promise to put on a classic match, as they are two of the best in-ring workers of the era.
Speaking of era, The Undertaker and Triple H will do battle in Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as a special guest referee in a match that should top their clash last year.
Finally, The Rock and Cena will wrestle in perhaps the most-hyped match of all time. With all of that on tap, plus a solid undercard, there is no reason why this WrestleMania can't be great.
Could Be Last Mania Appearances for Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels
The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels are three of the most influential WWE superstars of the past two decades, and all of them could be seeing their last in-ring action at WrestleMania XXVIII. Taker and Hunter put on a whale of a match last year, but the stakes are even higher this time around, as it will take place inside a cell with Michaels as the special guest referee. On top of that, if The Undertaker wins, he will move to a perfect 20-0 on wrestling's biggest stage.
If that weren't enough to draw you in, there is a distinct possibility that this could be the last WrestleMania hurrah for each of them. Michaels seems unlikely to ever wrestle again, as he retired following WrestleMania XVI, while neither Undertaker nor Triple H work as much as a partial schedule anymore. With Taker and Michaels likely to pursue other endeavors and Triple H looking to take on a bigger role in the running of the company, this could be the last chance for wrestling fans to see all of them in action.
There Is Potential for a Shocking Ending
Many consider WrestleMania X-Seven to be the best of all-time in part because of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's shocking heel turn to close out the show. Nothing has ever come close to that in terms of shock value at WrestleMania, but that could change this year. With The Rock and John Cena main eventing, there is a huge opportunity for the WWE to do what many have been clamoring for, that being turning Cena heel.
Pessimists continually say that it has no chance of happening, but with the match being in The Rock's hometown of Miami, Fla. and Cena showcasing a cocky attitude on Raw, I believe there is a distinct possibility that Cena will finally turn. When you think about it, there really aren't many satisfying scenarios for the ending to the Cena vs. Rock match, but a Cena heel turn most certainly would be. I'm not going to guarantee that it will happen, but how upset would you be if you missed a pivotal moment in wrestling history?
