WrestleMania 28: Brodus Clay and Wrestlers Ready for a Breakout
We know who the real stars of WrestleMania 28 will be, but there are a few major stars being treated like jabronis. There may not be room atop this stacked card, but I can think of at least four guys who are ready for a bigger part in WWE storylines.
My man Brodus Clay is certainly near the top of my list. Behold, the case for the Funkasaurus' push:

The Rock's TKO Royalties, Reimbursements Revealed
It's like the Godfather meets Too Cool (or maybe not Too Cool, I always hated them). Either way, he's fun, funny and he gets a great pop. Now, the WWE has to find a way to incorporate that into a higher level storyline, without losing the comedic quality.
Please don't get rid of the Funkettes, Naomi and Cameron. They balance out the ugly/pretty meter when Clay is on screen.
Size & Ability
He might be full of fun and games, but the big man can move in the ring. I completely believe he can be involved in a well-worked and exciting match. It can't just be all about dancing, and I think Clay has the talent to perform between the ropes.
Mic Skills
BC has decent mic skills as well—remember when he was eliminated from NXT? If you don't, no worries, I'll remind you:
All the big boy needs is a shot at a higher link on the food chain.
The Case for Ziggler
Another star that needs to shine just a little bit brighter than he's being allowed to is Dolph Ziggler. Yes, he has been the United States Champion, and he did feud with CM Punk. Shortly after that, he was downgraded, and now he's in the Team Teddy versus Team Johnny match?
Really?
That's like trading a division-winning QB and relegating him to the Wildcat package in football. Wait a minute—I guess that happened already.
Still, Ziggler deserves better, and I've got two good reasons why:
The Zig-Zag is One of the Industry's Best Finishers
The move is so cool, and the theatrics Ziggler pulls it off with makes it all the better. It is practical no matter who the opponent is, and it can be inverted from atop a ladder, the top rope, the JumboTron, the Sears Tower—wherever.
The Zig-Zag should never be kicked out of, unless I'm e-mailed first, and asked if such a thing is permissible.
Excellence of Execution, Part 2?
It's not just the finishing move, though. Ziggler pulls all of his moves off with almost Bret Hart-like execution (calm down, I said almost).
I'm a sucker for exciting, well-worked matches that showcase stars that can pull off a variety of old-school and new-school maneuvers. Ziggler is right at the top of my list of stars that match that profile.
No Love For Kofi?
Last but certainly not least, is Kofi Kingston. If the WWE doesn't get this man back in the ring, fighting for some gold that matters, it'll be a shame.
Is there a more exciting performer in the WWE?
Hell no.
The hand-walking thing at Royal Rumble was sick. Show me any other guy in the company who could do something like that—live.
No one else could.
Kofi's Kingdom is Already Large
Kofi already has a huge following. The pop he gets, as well as the reaction he draws from his in-ring action, is already on a main event level.
Placing Kofi in this Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny garbage is like benching your five-time champion shooting guard down the stretch of a game for some guy that changed his name to Metta World.
Damn, that already happened too.
No matter, I think I'm going to start a t-shirt line that says "Push Kofi"—who's with me?
