NFC East Free Agency: Most Intriguing Developing Storylines in the Division
After an early flurry, free agency activity has calmed down in the NFC East. However, there are still some big questions left for each team to answer.
The future of London Fletcher in Washington and the New York Giants' plan at linebacker are among the most intriguing developing storylines worth paying attention to.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Last week, NFL.com indicated that the Eagles were exploring a move for veteran big-play receiver Plaxico Burress. The 34-year-old flanker has previously expressed a desire to play in Philadelphia, and the move makes a lot of sense.
Burress would bring the size and red-zone proficiency that the Eagles currently lack at the receiver position.
Following up the trade for DeMeco Ryans with the acquisition of Burress would restore confidence in Philadelphia as major contenders for the division crown.
Jonathan Goff's future and the New York Giants MLB position
Earlier in the week, the Akron Beacon Journal reported that middle linebacker Jonathan Goff had visited the Cleveland Browns.
The news leads to obvious questions about the Giants' plan to upgrade the one major weakness on their defense. Goff manned the position in 2010, but he missed all of 2011 with an ACL injury. He is an intelligent run-stuffer who is a good fit for what the Giants like to do.
If Goff leaves, and without the spending power needed to acquire a quality replacement, the Giants risk embarking on their title defense without having fixed the most important position on their defense.
London Fletcher's future with the Washington Redskins
The Redskins have been ominously quiet in free agency after an initial eager foray. Aside from new signings to boost a suspect offensive line, re-signing defensive linchpin London Fletcher remains a top priority.
Yet the veteran tackling ace remains unsigned. Both the player and the front office have previously spoken of their desire to reach a new deal, making the continued absence of one a cause for concern.
The Redskins have a tricky decision to make with a restricted salary cap. As good as Fletcher is, now might be the best time to identify a young successor. On the other hand, linebackers as talented Fletcher are rare, and he would be a major loss to the improving defense.
The Dallas Cowboys options for No. 3 wide receiver
The loss of Laurent Robinson has created a major void in the Cowboys' passing game. After fixing their secondary and working to get younger along the offensive line, the Cowboys need to find another weapon to supplement Dez Bryant and Miles Austin.
Robinson was perhaps the most dangerous player on the Cowboys offense as the season progressed. Tony Romo would certainly be grateful for another target as proficient in the red zone.
There are still plenty of quality free agents left who can fill needs for NFC East teams and help solve these dilemmas. Expect a few more moves in the coming weeks.
