Wrestlemania 28 Matches: WWE Must Include HBK in Hell in a Cell Match
Being a special guest referee is lame.
The hints in body language and eye contact were given on Raw, so let's just get it done. The Undertaker is already playing on the HBK-Triple H feud, and their rivalry would be a great sub-plot to Undertaker's streak.
The WWE needs to make the Undertaker-Triple H, Hell in a Cell match a triple threat.
I know Shawn Michaels is 157 years old (actually 46), but Taker's even older. He'll turn 47 on Saturday, and if he can endure one more hellacious event, then maybe Michaels can as well.
It would be awesome to see three of the greatest superstars in the history of the WWE in one of its most attention-grabbing events.
Involving HBK would allow he and Triple H to feud during and after the match has completed. They could start off by attempting to double-team the Undertaker, but there would of course come a point where one has to choose.
When this happens, it can create the face and heel distinction for Triple H and Michaels. They can essentially cost each other the match, while Taker can win and keep his streak intact.
Some may not like Taker winning in this manner, but we're talking about three legends. Someone has to take the loss, figuratively and literally.
Some fans may be concerned with seeing three 40-somethings battle it out in this type of match.
I'm not one of them.
They all understand that this is WrestleMania, and it could be their last opportunity to be in the ring, in an event this big.
Triple H is the youngest of the trio at 42, but his best days as an in-ring performer are obviously behind him. That said, what a way to possibly punctuate your in-ring career.
All three of the men have a huge commitment to the industry. They would put on a great show on the industry's biggest stage. Including Michaels as a performer would increase the appeal and excitement of the in-ring action.
It creates a great balance of small-medium-large men, and that is an awesome combination in a triple threat match. It gives each performer a chance to look their best. Taker's feats of strength can happen with smaller men to handle. Triple H's technical prowess won't be limited either. Finally, while HBK has obviously lost a step, being in the ring with larger, slower wrestlers will make him look quicker.
If HBK is added, fans would get an opportunity to see him, Triple H, Undertaker, Kane, The Rock, John Cena, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton in action at the same pay-per-view event.
Now that is wrestling history, and an event I wouldn't dare miss.
