NCAA Bracket 2012: Syracuse and More Sweet 16 Failures
The Sweet 16 sin't nearly as wonderful as it sounds. Some teams will suffer the humiliation of leaving the tournament far too soon if they bow out before their time.
Syracuse joins those teams that have loftier goals than simply the round of 16. The Orange are still looking for a title despite their obvious issues with Fab Melo gone.
They aren't the only team to waltzing toward an early demise. Here is a rundown of Sweet 16 losses that will only serve to remind fans that there are no guarantees in the NCAA tournament.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Syracuse
The Syracuse Orange take on the Wisconsin Badgers in a game that will be all about which team can get hot and stay that way from distance.
Syracuse had a comfortable win against Kansas State as Scoop Jardine led the team by reading the court and making the right decisions. It led to 16 points and eight assists as the full complement of stars were involved.
Wisconsin dispatched of Vanderbilt by hitting 10 three-pointers. The Badgers have the formula to get over on a team like Syracuse. I am confident they come in hot from the perimeter, putting Syracuse well back on their heels. Wisconsin wins a close one.
Ohio State
The Buckeyes take on a hot Cincinnati team that has the perfect matchup to bring down a Final Four favorite.
The Buckeyes can go big as well as anyone, but so can the Bearcats. The underrated defensive stalwarts came into the tourney giving up just over 61 points per contest and forcing teams to shoot 41 percent from the field.
OSU will have to get creative on a team that can block shots and force turnovers like no other. Cincinnati will move on in a wild and exciting clash.
Marquette
Florida is riding high as they continue to prove they were seeded a tad lower than they should have been. The formula is simple to take down a Marquette team that can get out an run with the best of them.
Well, Florida is primed and ready to meet and exceed their standards. Florida has far too many shooters and distributes the ball far too well for Marquette to adequately defend.
Unless Florida gets cold in the next couple days, I don't see the Gators losing.
