NCAA Bracket 2012: Favorites for All-Tournament Team Selections
Generally, two games are required for consideration for the NCAA All-Tournament team. We are at that point as we head into the Sweet 16.
There have been some nice team efforts to engineer upsets, as well some that helped stave them off. But the following players' individual performances give them the inside track on All-Tournament selections.
Draymond Green - Michigan State

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Green is making believers out of a lot of his doubters. Through two games he is averaging nearly a triple-double. Green has put up 20 points, 12.5 rebounds and eight assists per game in leading the Spartans into the Sweet 16.
No matter what happens against Louisville, Green may have already secured his spot on the All-Tournament team.
Jae Crowder - Marquette
Crowder has been a beast for Marquette. Quietly, he has averaged 21 points and 14.5 rebounds as Marquette heads into a Sweet 16 matchup with Florida.
Crowder will have a tough and physical matchup inside with Patric Young, but he has had a great tournament so far.
If it continues on, so will Marquette. One more win will likely mean Crowder is in as a All-Tournament selection.
Tu Holloway - Xavier
Xavier's tough senior guard has been a scoring machine. He has averaged 23 points per game while shooting over 50 percent from the field.
Xavier has a winnable Sweet 16 matchup with Baylor, and if they win, Holloway will add even more points to his tournament total.
He is a solid scoring point guard who deserves a little more attention from NBA scouts. An All-Tournament selection would provide that.
Brady Heslip - Baylor
Heslip almost single-handedly shot the Bears into the Sweet 16 against Colorado. He had 27 points on nine three-pointers. For the tournament, he is shooting an insane 14-of-22 from three, while averaging 22 points per game.
He has easily been the tournament's most outstanding long-range bomber, and one of the best overall players.
Anthony Davis - Kentucky
Davis has been his normal, solid self. His tournament totals of 14 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game are almost mirror images of his regular-season numbers.
That play was good enough to have him considered one of the two best players in the nation. It's also good enough for me to consider him one of the five best players thus far in the NCAA tournament.
He has a tough matchup coming up against Indiana and Cody Zeller. Having already lost to the Hoosiers earlier in the season, Davis and his teammates should be fired up.
I expect a big performance and Davis is a lock for the All-Tournament team.
