March Madness 2012 Bracket: Teams That Will Continue Bracket-Busting Trend
For those of you who were caught off guard at the huge upsets in the second round of the men's tournament, you 'aint seen nothing yet.
If ever there was a year that personified March Madness, 2012 has been that year. There were nine upsets in the second round, five of which were major upsets.
Madness, indeed.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
There are two teams that will keep bracket busting alive and well going into the Sweet 16 with improbable third-round victories over higher-ranking opponents.
(11) Colorado Will Defeat (3) Baylor
After California managed to make the Pac-12 seem insignificant and weak in their first-round loss to the South Florida Bulls, Colorado then redeemed the conference with a rousing 68-64 victory over LSU in the second round.
Andre Roberson was dominant for the Buffaloes in the second round. He dominated the paint, collecting 16 rebounds to go along with 12 points. He'll have his hands full against Baylor, as he'll be matched up against Quincy Acy, an athletic forward that will be all over him.
Colorado is riding a five-game win streak that helped get them into the tourney in the first place. Conversely, Baylor has been up and down since the middle of January after winning their first 17 games, giving them a record of 27-7 to this point.
Colorado will continue to defy the odds against Baylor.
They will move on to the Sweet 16 on the efforts of a balanced offense and scrappy efforts on both the glass and in transition against the Bears.
(11) North Carolina State Will Defeat (3) Georgetown
The Wolfpack had no trouble at all dispatching the San Diego State Aztecs in the second round of the tourney.
Besides nearly defeating North Carolina in the conference championship game, North Carolina State has won five of their last six games. They had a chance to take the game from the Tarheels, but in the end they fell just short of that monumental goal.
The Hoyas, on the other hand, have lost four out of their last 10 games.
North Carolina State is a much more balanced team on offense than Georgetown, with five players averaging over 10 points per game to the Hoyas, who only have three consistent scorers.
Richard Howell and C.J. Leslie will have their hands full in the paint against Otto Porter and Henry Sims, but in the end the Wolfpack will continue their impressive play and beat the Hoyas by pounding the glass, giving them no second chances to score.
I'm expecting this game to be a tightly contested ballgame until the end, but North Carolina will ultimately pull off another upset, landing themselves in the Sweet 16.
