NCAA Tournament 2012: Winners, Losers, Heroes and Goats of Day 2
Day four of the 2012 NCAA tournament was one of the most exciting days of basketball you will ever see, with several major upsets ruining brackets everywhere.
After not a single No. 15 seed had beaten a No. 2 seed since 2001, two No. 15 seeds were victorious on Friday. Lehigh defeated Duke and Norfolk State beat Missouri in two of the most thrilling basketball games this season.
Let's look at a complete recap of the day's best and worst, and find out what's in store for the next round.
No. 10 Purdue vs. No. 7 Saint Mary's

Hero: Terone Johnson
The sophomore guard led the Boilermakers with 21 points to help his team fight off a late rally by the Gaels in the second half.
Johnson shot 9-of-13 from the floor and also added four rebounds and five assists in a complete effort.
Goat: Matthew Dellavedova
The junior guard scored just 12 points in this loss to Purdue, shooting 3-of-10 from the field and 1-of-5 from the three-point line.
Dellavedova was one of the best players in the West Coast Conference this season, but his performance on Friday was one that will bother him throughout the offseason.

The Boilermakers will take on No. 2 seed Kansas in the third round of the Midwest Region.

Hero: D.J. Cooper
The junior guard led the Bobcats with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Cooper was also 4-of-5 from the foul line and was aggressive on offense. His leadership on the floor was crucial to the Bobcats' success in the final minutes of the game.
Goat: Tim Hardaway Jr.
The sophomore guard scored just 14 points and was a miserable 5-of-14 from the field, including a 2-of-6 performance from the three-point line. Hardaway didn't shoot well and also had four fouls, which limited his effectiveness throughout the game.

The Bobcats will take on No. 12 seed South Florida in the third round of the Midwest Region.

The senior guard led Lehigh with 30 points and also added six assists and six rebounds in a complete effort against the Blue Devils. McCollum refused to let his team be defeated and his strong play was inspiring to his teammates.
Goat: Seth Curry
The junior guard scored just seven points and shot 1-of-9 from the field, including 1-of-7 from the three-point line. His poor shooting really hurt the Blue Devils' chances of winning this game.

Lehigh will continue it's NCAA tournament run against No. 10 Xavier in the third round of the South Region.

Hero: Kwamain Mitchell
Saint Louis guard Kwamain Mitchell led the team with 22 points and shot an impressive 9-of-14 from the field. His consistent play at the offensive end of the floor was huge in the Billikens' win over the Tigers.
Goat: Chris Crawford
The Memphis guard played 37 minutes, but scored just three points on 1-of-8 shooting. He was also 0-for-5 from the three-point line. Crawford's poor shooting was one reason why the Tigers' offense struggled on Friday.

Saint Louis will meet No. 1 seed Michigan State in the third round of the West Region.

The senior center had a magnificent performance for Norfolk State, leading the team with 26 points and 14 rebounds. O'Quinn made several big plays down the stretch and just dominated in the paint at both ends of the floor.
Goat: Kim English
The Missouri guard scored a mere two points and shot just 1-of-7 from the field and 0-for-5 from the three-point line.
What's Next for Norfolk State
Norfolk State's first NCAA tournament win and first victory over a ranked opponent since the school joined Division I has earned them a matchup against No. 10 seed Florida in the third round of the West Region.

Starting in place of the injured John Henson, North Carolina forward James Michael McAdoo scored 17 points and added six rebounds and four steals in a spectacular performance.
Goat: Sandro Carissimo
Carissimo led Vermont with 11 points, but shot just 5-of-10 from the field and 1-of-3 from the three-point line. He had to play better offensively for the Catamounts to really challenge the Tar Heels.

The Georgetown guard led the Hoyas in scoring with 21 points and shot 9-of-12 from the field, while also adding four rebounds in an impressive performance.
Goat: Kerron Johnson
The Bruins' guard scored just four points in 34 minutes and shot an awful 1-of-6 from the field. Johnson's poor offensive performance prevented Belmont from having a chance to upset the Hoyas.

The St. Bonaventure guard played 32 minutes, but scored just six points on 1-of-6 shooting. If he had played better offensively, his team might be in the third round right now.

The Florida big man scored 13 points and added seven rebounds in a dominating Gators win over Virginia. Young hit all six of his shot attempts and played exceptional defense for Florida.
The Cavaliers' guard scored just eight points in 37 minutes, while shooting 2-of-10 from the three-point line. Zeglinski was the major reason why Virginia shot so poorly from the perimeter.

The Bearcats' forward scored 16 points and excelled at the defensive end of the floor, with 10 rebounds and three blocks.
Goat: Myck Kabongo
The Texas guard was one of the best players in the Big 12 Conference this season, but in 36 minutes against the Bearcats, he scored just two points on 0-of-6 shooting. The Longhorns didn't have a chance with Kabongo playing so poorly.

Kansas' star forward scored 16 points and grabbed a team high 14 rebounds in a great performance. Robinson dominated at both ends of the floor and shot 7-of-13 from the free-throw line.
Goat: Chase Simon
Detroit guard Chase Simon scored just six points on 2-of-11 shooting against the Jayhawks. The Titans needed his outside shooting to be solid if they wanted to upset Kansas, but he couldn't deliver.

The Xavier guard was the biggest reason for the Musketeers' upset win over the Fighting Irish. Holloway scored 25 points off the bench on 10-of-15 shooting.
Goat: Jerian Grant
The Notre Dame guard scored 11 points, but shot just 4-of-13 from the floor against Xavier. If Grant was more productive on offense, the Fighting Irish could have escaped with a win.

The Bulls' forward really played well on Friday night and helped the South Florida offense score 43 points in the second half, after the team scored just 15 in the first 20 minutes.
Rudd scored 17 points and hit four three-point shots to ignite the Bulls' offense.
Goat: Ramone Moore
The Temple guard was a major reason why the Owls shot just 35 percent from the field. Moore made just two of his 10 shot attempts and scored only five points.

No. 16 LIU Brooklyn vs. No. 1 Michigan State

Hero: Draymond Green
The Michigan State star achieved a triple-double on Friday night with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. It was a dominating performance from the senior forward, and LIU just had no answer for his size and strength in the paint.
Goat: Michael Culpo
In 32 minutes of play, Culpo scored just three points on 1-of-7 shooting. If LIU Brooklyn were to have a legitimate chance of upsetting Michigan State, Culpo had to shoot well from the outside.
