March Madness 2012 Schedule: Games you Don't Want to Miss This Week
After a stirring couple of opening-night games, March Madness has now fully enveloped the sports world, and there are a few games this week you don't want to miss.
If we know anything about the NCAA tournament, it's that you never know what might happen. It's not an aberration that every single year we have Cinderella teams coming from the bottom of the heap to challenge for the National Championship.
1. Vanderbilt (5) vs. Harvard (12)

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
It's always fun to watch teams play that haven't been in the tournament in a while. The last time Harvard made it in was in 1946, and they will be pumped at their opportunity to challenge one of the historic teams in the NCAA.
Harvard set a school record with 26 wins in 2011-2012, finishing with a record of 26-4.
They will have their hands full against the Commodores.
John Jenkins and Jeffery Taylor are both deadly scorers, pitching in 37 points a game between the two of them.
Harvard will have a tough time trying to corral them, and I don't expect them to win.
That being said, don't discount the possibility that we could be witnesses to history.
Watch this game.
2. Creighton (8) vs. Alabama (9)
Creighton is an interesting team to watch this year, and they may have the talent to become this year's Baylor, coming from the eight-seed to win the tournament.
Alabama will be a tough matchup for Creighton, though.
Doug McDermott is one of the hotter names out there right now, winning the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year award. At just 6'7" he could have a tough time against JaMychal Green, a bigger player that could shut him down.
Without Mcdermott scoring points, Creighton won't have a chance. It'll be fun to watch this matchup all game long.
Make sure to tune into this one to see if Creighton is for real.
3. Florida (7) vs. Virginia (10)
This one should be a doozy.
Both teams feature completely differing styles of play, with Florida excelling on the perimeter and Virginia being happy to pound the ball inside.
Mike Scott is the main weapon for Virginia, and Florida's Patrick Young will struggle to contain him in the paint.
On the other hand, Florida features Bradley Beal, Kenny Boynton, Erving Walker and Mike Rosario in the backcourt. They lead a high-scoring offense that relies on consistent shooting to get the job done.
If Florida goes cold from the perimeter, Virginia could run away with this one.
As an added bonus, if you watch this game, you get to watch Billy Donovan freak out for a couple of hours on the sideline.
