March Madness 2012 Snubs: Seton Hall and More NIT Teams out for Revenge
Teams don't make the NIT without good reason.
Sure, there are some major snubs who have as much a right into the tournament as, say, Iona and BYU, but the committee didn't turn them away without some form of good reason.
That said, the following snubs are not happy about their exclusion from the big dance, and they'll be out for blood in the NIT tournament to prove it.

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Seton Hall
The committee didn't feel a 10th Big East team was deserving, and the Pirates were the odd man out.
They're now arguably the favorite to win the NIT tournament after going through a rigorous conference schedule this year with a number of talented players.
They drew a No. 1 seed and will be tough to beat so close to home.
Miami
This team didn't do itself any favors this season. They knocked off Duke and Florida State, but they lost too many winnable games when it mattered most.
Now they're on the outside looking in, but will refocus and bring some fire to the NIT court.
They have to potential to explode at any moment, but they can also completely underwhelm.
If they can harness their anger into solid play on the court, they will be tough to beat.
Tennessee
Like Miami, Tennessee has only themselves to blame for missing the tournament. They have the talent to compete in the Big Dance, but they didn't bring it consistently and wound up on the outside after a disappointing loss to Ole Miss in the SEC tourney.
They don't want to go out that way, and even though the NIT won't be something that excites them, they'll come to play when it matters.
Drexel
The Dragons have the biggest beef with the committee of any team. After reeling off 23 straight wins, they fell to VCU in the CAA championship game and still wound up outside the tournament. The Rams, a Final Four team a year ago, were given the 12th seed for the win.
Drexel still should've found their way. It will be tough for them get up for the NIT after thinking they'd be dancing, but something says they won't go quietly.
