2012 NFL Mock Draft: Quinton Coples and Senior Bowl Studs Who Will Go Early
Quinton Coples is going to turn a dominant Senior Bowl performance into an early selection in the 2012 NFL draft.
He isn't the only one, either. The Senior Bowl is a chance for players to show if they can hang against an entire team of NFL-caliber players.
If a players proves to be physically dominate on this stage, they show they have what it takes to be effective on the next level.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In my full first-round mock below, the players who enhanced their draft stock at the Senior Bowl will be given extra attention.
Langford's 2012 NFL Mock Draft
1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Andrew Luck is going No. 1. We all know it, and it's just a matter of time before the Colts make it official.
2. Washington Redskins via St. Louis: Robert Griffin III
*This trade is not official, but has been widely reported.
The Redskins traded three first-round picks and a second for one reason—to draft Robert Griffin III.
3. Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil, OT, USC
Kalil is the prototypical stud left tackle. Christian Ponder and Adrian Peterson will be big fans of this selection.
4. Cleveland Browns: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
The Browns are going to have a potentially dominant secondary by adding Claiborne to the mix.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Richardson will add stability and consistency to a Buccaneers offense that desperately needs it.
6. St. Louis Rams via Aforementioned Trade: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
The great part about this trade for the Rams is that they can still land the player they wanted all along.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Quinton Coples, DE, UNC
How Coples Improved His Stock at Senior Bowl
Coples is a strong defensive lineman. He excels at the bull rush and can be a factor in the run and pass game.
However, he struggled last season as he faced a constant barrage of double teams.
He had no such struggles in the Senior Bowl. Coples routinely beat quality offensive linemen in the Senior Bowl. He was a fixture in the other team's backfield and slid into the top 10 as a result.
8. Carolina Panthers: Devon Still, DT, Penn State
Devon Still has the ability to penetrate in the backfield to disrupt the rushing and passing game. That will be a welcomed sight in Carolina.
9. Miami Dolphins: Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
Martin needs some work in pass protection, but he is dominant in the run game and will be a great fit on the right side for the Dolphins.
10. Buffalo Bills: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
This pick is a bit of a reach here, but the Bills are desperate for CB help.
11. Kansas City Chiefs: David DeCastro, OG, Stanford
DeCastro will help the Chiefs reclaim their dominant run game.
12. Seattle Seahawks: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
Poe is a mountain of a man with surprising explosiveness.
13. Arizona Cardinals: Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
The Cardinals will go for Wright's elite speed and look for him to stretch the field.
14. Dallas Cowboys: Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College
Kuechly's nose for the ball will help the Cowboys' defense find a measure of consistency.
15. Philadelphia Eagles: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
The Eagles need to do a better job of protecting the passer. Reiff will be an instant upgrade.
16. New York Jets: Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina
Ingram's has a nice blend of size and speed. It is the latter that will help the Jets the most.
17. Cincinnati Bengals via OAK: Lamar Miller, RB, Miami
Miller is a talented, hard-running back and is a perfect fit here.
18. San Diego Chargers: Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
The Chargers secondary will be stacked with the addition of Denard.
19. Chicago Bears: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
This should be one of the biggest no-brainer picks of the draft. The Bears need a center, and Konz is the best one out there.
20. Tennessee Titans: Mark Barron, S, Alabama
Barron can play the run like a linebacker and is still agile enough to go man-to-man with TEs.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
Jenkins is a supremely talented corner with big-time character concerns. With multiple picks in the first round, the Bengals have the luxury of making this gamble.
22. Cleveland Browns via ATL: Zach Brown, OLB, UNC
Brown is a well-balanced linebacker and a perfect fit for the Browns.
23. Detroit Lions: Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia
How Glenn Improved His Stock at the Senior Bowl
At 340 pounds, no one is doubting Glenn's size. However, his agility has certainly come into question. He went a long way towards erasing those doubts in the Senior Bowl.
While he struggled at times in practice against the likes of Quinton Coples, he was dominant when he was moved inside to guard.
He functioned very well in the tighter quarters of the interior line. He proved that he will have no problem adjusting to guard and has the potential to be an absolutely dominant run blocker.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
Adams is a boom or bust pick. The Steelers' need for a tackle will lead them to gamble.
25. Denver Broncos: Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
Cox is an explosive interior defensive lineman. The Broncos pass would be frightening with his addition.
26. Houston Texans: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Floyd has big-time potential. He also has big-time red flags.
27. New England Patriots via NO: Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, Alabama
How Upshaw Improved His Stock at the Senior Bowl
Upshaw is a unique prospect. He can rush the passer with his hand in the dirt or standing up as an OLB. He has good size at 265 pounds but is probably best suited for OLB in a 3-4.
He lined up in multiple positions in the Senior Bowl and dominated from all of them.
This versatility is perfect for the Patriots.
28. Green Bay Packers: Nick Perry, DE/OLB, USC
Perry will bring some much-needed athleticism to the Packers front seven.
29. Baltimore Ravens: Dont'a Hightower, LB, Alabama
Hightower is a versatile and smart linebacker.
30. San Francisco 49ers: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina
Jeffery has the size and ability to make an instant impact in the NFL.
31. New England Patriots: Jared Crick, DL, Nebraska
Crick is a high-motor player who will be a nice fit for the end in a 3-4.
32. New York Giants: Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State
Do the Giants need Worthy? No. Will that stop them from taking another defensive lineman? Also no.
