Florida State vs. Duke: Highlights, Twitter Reaction, Grades and Analysis
The rubber match between Florida State and Duke wasn't as pretty as most people were hoping, but it certainly was exciting. The Seminoles eventually out-lasted Duke, 62-59.
Florida State advances to take on North Carolina in the ACC championship, a game in which the Tar Heels will be looking for revenge after FSU beat UNC by 33 back on Jan. 14.
But first, here's a closer look at Saturday's crazy game between the Seminoles and Blue Devils, and what went wrong and what went right for both teams.

Tweets of the Night
Florida State guard Ian Miller, who scored seven points, can be instant offense off the bench. CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein points out that he probably shouldn't be coming off the bench for much longer.
For what it's worth, Deividas Dulkys had two points on 1-of-6 shooting.
Up next, we have a tweet from the fake Bill Walton, who makes the stunning comparison between Duke's Plumlee brothers and the Winklevoss twins.
As ESPN's Dick Vitale pointed out, we pretty much knew the Seminoles were going to win when they were ahead at halftime.
ESPN's Twitter account reminds us that we'll finally have a new ACC tournament champion this year after Duke's loss.
Grades for Florida State's Key Players
Michael Snaer: A
Snaer absolutely filled up the box score with 16 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks.
He is one of the best defenders in the nation, but when he is able to contribute like he did on the offensive end Saturday, Snaer is scary good.
The clutch factor was there, too, as he hit some big shots late in the game.
Bernard James: B+
James didn't get as many blocks as he usually does, but he disrupted Mason and Miles Plumlee all night long. He also added 13 points and six rebounds in a nice all-around game.
Grades for Duke's Key Players
Austin Rivers: A-
At halftime, my grade for Rivers was a "C." He got in foul trouble early, and as a result wasn't able to get into much of a groove.
But as the game went on, Rivers—much like his season—got so much better.
The freshman hit tons of late baskets, both from the inside and from beyond the arc. He was not the reason Duke lost this game, as he did everything he could late in game.
Rivers finished with 17 points on 5-of-14 shooting.
He still needs to be more consistent, but it's hard to complain with what he did in crunch time.
Mason Plumlee: C
I realize he was asked to do more than usual with Ryan Kelly out, but Plumlee simply didn't step up.
Whether he was bothered by Bernard James and Xavier Gibson on the inside or not doesn't matter, he needs to be better if Duke is going to have any type of big-man depth. Throw in his unnecessary fouls near the end of the game, and he hurt the Blue Devils.
Plumlee finished with just eight points and four rebounds to go with three turnovers.
Miles Plumlee: B+
Plumlee made a few bone-headed plays in the first half, but he came through for the most part.
The big man is going to be very key for the Blue Devils in the Big Dance, and if he continues to be this good on defense (11 rebounds, four blocks), that's all Duke can ask for.
Deciding Factor: Turnovers
It's tough to win a game when you commit 16 turnovers, and Duke found that out the hard way.
Florida State certainly plays hard-nosed defense up in your face, and that led to a good amount of turnovers, but Duke also committed a ton of unforced errors.
The Blue Devils really rely on being able to hit the three-ball, and when it's not falling (25 percent versus FSU), they need to cherish the possessions they get.
Simply put, the Blue Devils had too many turnovers, which is bad. But it's even worse when they miss as many open shots as they did.
Game MVP: Michael Snaer
Not only was Snaer the defensive MVP of this game, and not only did he shut down Rivers on the game's last play, he was incredibly clutch down the stretch.
Snaer hit a big three-pointer to put Florida State ahead and came up with a few loose balls, giving the Seminoles some important possessions.
The junior's value can't be overstated, and if he plays like this every night, the Seminoles will make it a long way in the NCAA Tourney.
What's Next?
The Seminoles match up with North Carolina Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
