SEC Tournament 2012: Kentucky's Dominance More Apparent with Each Game
With each passing game, including in this year's SEC tournament, the Kentucky Wildcats are continuing to prove to the nation that they are the most dominant team in all of college basketball.
While their defeat 74-71 defeat over the Florida Gators was a close call, the team still once again prevailed to continue their winning way against their conference and the rest of the field.
It is apparent that now more than ever coach John Calipari has his young Wildcats playing at a high level, and it doesn't look as if they can be stopped.

Coming into the tournament, the Wildcats finished the season defeating the Gators at home 74-59. They followed up that victory with a 60-51 defeat of the LSU Tigers in the SEC tourney, which in turn led to this win.
While the team didn't win as easily as they did the previous time around, the Wildcats were able to stay motivated and strong until the final buzzer, and that is all that matters.
With either Vanderbilt or Ole Miss coming up next, the Wildcats should be able to claim one last victory before heading to the Big Dance.
If they can play at a high level once again, while attaining the SEC title, the Wildcats will convincingly look like the team to beat in this year's NCAA tournament.
Both the No. 2 Syracuse Orange and No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks were knocked out of their conference tournaments, so it is just the No. 1 Wildcats and the No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels who remain to be the teams that have a shot at taking their conference title while defending their ranking.
The team is going to need to continue to see solid contributions from all over the floor, but most importantly from sophomore Doron Lamb and freshman Anthony Davis.
If those two can continue to run the table, as well as the rest of the team playing as well as they have been, the Wildcats shouldn't fall short of what they have already accomplished.
There isn't much more for them to prove, but there is still a lot more to achieve.
