Pac-12 Tournament 2012 Schedule: Studs to Watch in Arizona vs. Colorado Final
Entering the Pac-12 tournament, it was quite clear that the field was wide open. Even so, the events of the tourney have been pretty surprising as the majority of the top seeds were knocked out fairly early. That leaves an intriguing finals matchup between the No. 4-seeded Arizona Wildcats and No. 6-seeded Colorado Buffaloes.
Although both teams performed well in conference play with 12-6 and 11-7 records, respectively, it is still always a bit of a shock when two middle-of-the-pack teams go the distance. The Wildcats obviously aren't strangers to winning the conference as they are one of the more decorated programs in the nation, but the Buffaloes have a shot to win the conference in the their first year since leaving the Big 12.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Here are three studs to keep an eye on in what is sure to be a competitive and hard-fought final.
Kyle Fogg
Arizona has produced a lot of great players over the years, but the latest is senior guard Kyle Fogg. After a decent first three years, Fogg has really hit his stride this season and developed into a go-to guy.
The offense basically runs through him as he is averaging a team-high 13.7 points per game, as well as four rebounds and over two assists per contest. Fogg is also the team's best sharpshooter from long range with 72 threes made and a 44.2 percent conversion rate.
Fogg took over last game against the Oregon State Beavers as he poured in 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds en route to the Wildcats' semifinal win.
The Buffaloes didn't exactly shut down Fogg during the regular season as he scored 16 and 15 points, respectively against them, but Arizona will need him to play closer to what he did against Oregon State if the Wildcats are going to go dancing.
Andre Roberson
Forward Andre Roberson's athleticism and potential were certainly on display last season as a freshman, but he has really refined his game and become one of the Buffaloes' must integral players this year.
Not only is Roberson the team's second-leading scorer with 11.6 points per game, but he is a terror on the defensive end as well as he paces Colorado with 11.1 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.2 steals per contest.
The 6'7" Roberson is a long and active defender who controls the painted area for the Buffaloes. He can also score from all over the floor on offense. There aren't many total packages like Roberson in the college game, but he forces the opposition to worry about him at all times.
Roberson looks like he is going to be an elite player in short order, and he can most definitely speed up that development with a big performance in a Colorado Pac-12 championship win.
Solomon Hill
After two seasons of spotty production, junior forward Solomon Hill finally stepped up and became a top option for the Wildcats this year. The 6'6" small forward is a great asset because he does a little bit of everything for Arizona and is difficult to account for.
He is second on the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game, and he leads the Wildcats in both rebounding (7.7 RPG) and assists (2.6 APG). Hill also plays more minutes than any other Wildcat, so his importance is quite obvious.
In each of his meetings with the Buffaloes this season, Hill went for a double-double with points and rebounds. He was also a beast in the Pac-12 quarterfinals against UCLA as he dropped 25 points and hauled in 12 boards.
If he can find some middle ground between his regular-season performances against Colorado and his destruction of UCLA, then he'll play a huge role on Saturday.
