Pac-12 Tournament 2012 Schedule: Predictions for Every Game on Day 2
With no elite teams in the Pac-12 this season, its conference tournament is wide open. Since there's several bubble teams in the conference needing a few wins for an NCAA tournament berth, you can expect there to be some exciting basketball throughout the week.
Let's look at a complete Day 2 schedule for the Pac-12 Tournament and make some predictions.
Washington vs. Oregon State: 3:00 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Net

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
The Washington Huskies are the top seed in the Pac-12 tournament but still have a lot of work to do in order to earn the best possible seed in the NCAA tournament.
The Huskies will dominate the Beavers on the boards in this game, which will be the deciding factor in the outcome. Washington is fifth in the nation in rebounds per game, while Oregon State ranks 154th. The size of the Huskies big men will be too much for Oregon State to handle.
Expect an easy Washington win on Day 2 of the Pac-12 tournament.
Arizona vs. UCLA: 5:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Net
This matchup is between two teams who cannot afford to lose this game. UCLA has struggled this season and have to reach the final, or maybe win the Pac-12 tournament to get an NCAA tournament bid.
Arizona just needs a win or two, but cannot lose to an inferior Bruins team. That kind of defeat would damage the Wildcats' tournament resume severely.
These two teams split the regular season series; both meetings were close games. If Arizona can defend the paint and get off to a good start, they will defeat the Bruins in another close game. I expect the Wildcats to earn a hard-fought victory.
California vs. Stanford: 9:00 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Net
Cal is likely a lock for the NCAA tournament, but they can really help their resume with an important win against a Stanford team that has won three of its last four games.
The Cardinal are playing fantastic offensively right now, and have scored 75 or more points in their last two games, which is about five points above their yearly average.
They defeated Cal on March 4 by five and will do so again with their NCAA tournament lives on the line.
Oregon vs. Colorado: 11:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Net
With a 22-8 record, Oregon would likely punch their ticket to March Madness with a win or two in the Pac-12 tournament. Losing to Colorado, however, could force them to hope other bubble teams throughout the country fail in their own conference tournaments.
Colorado is also hoping they can get into the NCAA tournament, but at 20-11 they need to make a deep run in the Pac-12 tournament.
This will be a close game, but the senior leadership and strong guard play of the Ducks will give them a much-needed win against the Buffaloes.
