2012 NFL Free Agents: 3 Best Free Agent Bargains
While all focus is on the futures of Mario Williams, Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks, how about we take a glimpse at the guys who won't do severe cap damage to our favorite team if they sign him in free agency?
After all, we're humans—always looking for a bargain.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There are plenty of receiver-needy teams in the NFL, and luckily, the free-agent class of 2012 has its fair share of quality receivers.
Jackson will cost more than $10 million per year, and Marques Colston, while tremendously productive in New Orleans, has undergone five knee surgeries in his career and isn't nearly as dynamic down the field as Meachem.
The former Tennessee star is 27 years old, has good size at 6'2'' and 210 pounds and is a willing run-blocker.
While many believe he's a product of the Saints' vertical system, he undoubtedly has elite speed and will schematically change how a secondary plans for whichever team grabs him if he hits the open market.
This electric wideout will draw many suitors in free agency, and his relatively low stat outputs won't allow him to ask for a mega contract.
He's the perfect complement if your club already has a possession wideout or tight end and is looking for a guy to stretch the defensive backfield.
Martellus Bennett, TE, Dallas Cowboys
Bennett turns 25 on March 10th and has been the primary blocking tight end for the Dallas Cowboys after being selected by them in the second round of the 2008 draft.
At 6'6'' and nearly 270 pounds, Bennett was a menacing and simply overpowering tight end with deceptive speed during his collegiate career at Texas A&M. While he has been somewhat of a disappointment in Big D, he's had to play behind Jason Witten. He set a career high with 33 catches in 2010 and reeled in 17 passes last season.
Bennett certainly has the natural talent and skill to become a viable pass-catcher, and he's already a proven blocker.
After what we've seen from Vernon Davis, Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham, teams will look to integrate their tight ends into the offense more than they have in the past. Bennett would be a relatively cheap option who still has considerable upside and is a well-rounded player.
Erin Henderson, OLB, Minnesota Vikings
Henderson is probably the most unknown player on this list, but he's an up-and-comer oozing with potential. After Jared Allen, he was one of the lone bright spots on the Vikings defense last season, racking up career highs in every major statistical category.
The 25-year-old out of Maryland had 70 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles from his 4-3 outside linebacker spot.
At 6'3'' and 244 pounds, he's bulky enough to deal with offensive linemen looking to get to the second level on outside running plays, and he excels in run support.
For a team looking to add a quality starter that seems to have his better playing days ahead of him, Henderson is a fine option.
