SEC Tournament 2012: Kentucky Will Roll Through Tourney Before Big Dance
This is Kentucky's world, and the rest of the SEC are merely living in it.
The 2012 SEC Tournament is about to kick off, and it will resemble more of a dress rehearsal for one team that is guaranteed to play deep into March.
I am not taking anything away from the rest of the conference; many of them have some serious talent that will serve them well in a couple weeks in the NCAA tournament.

This is more of how well Kentucky has been playing this season and the pride they will put into locking up the conference on the way to far more important things, like the NCAA title.
It took one magical night and a stirring buzzer beater to beat a team that is playing very much like an undefeated juggernaut.
Despite that lone misstep, the 30-1 Wildcats have mowed through the rest of the season. The SEC is no field of also rans, but the chasm is certainly wide and will only serve to make the next week a comfortable one for the best team in the nation.
This is a top-20 team on both ends of the court with the best baller in the nation in Anthony Davis. The SEC tournament will go to the team that is playing hotter and is deeper than anyone else, and that's the Wildcats.
This is not to say that we don't have our favorites who could shock. Tennessee continues to get little respect on the national scene, but I am not willing to put them over Kentucky at this time.
Kentucky is 15-0 in conference play, and only five of those teams were able to stay within 10 points of the team with a national championship in their sights.
I still think Tennessee is the most worthy opponent, and even they were taken to task by a much better team at the end of January.
Kentucky annihilated the Volunteers 69-44 and put to rest the hopes Tennessee could match wits with a team that is very much the favorite to take not only the SEC title but the NCAA one as well.
This will no doubt be an exciting display, and one that will feature teams like Florida, Tennessee and Vanderbilt taking their best shot at Goliath, but they will all prove futile by the close of Sunday.
