NFL Combine 2012: Players That Will See Their Draft Stock Change Mightily
Draft stock is the name of the game at the NFL scouting combine this weekend. Players want to be at their peak by the time the draft rolls around on April 25, but the most important day of their lives will be when they test in front of evaluators and scouts.
Not every player is going to improve their stock this weekend, which changes the entire dynamic of the draft. We have seen elite college players struggle in this event and drop faster than, well, the actual stock market.
Here are the players who will see their stock move drastically one way or the other when the combine is over.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Morris Claiborne, Cornerback
The one thing that NFL teams need more than anything else, with the exception of an elite quarterback, is a true shutdown cornerback.
Claiborne could join the likes of Darrelle Revis, Joe Haden and Chris Gamble really quickly. He has the size and athleticism to be an impact defensive back right away. Plus, he has the added bonus of being able to return punts if asked.
He is a lock to be one of the first 5-to-10 players taken, but one great workout could push him into the No. 2 spot, which is currently held by the St. Louis Rams.
Brock Osweiler, Quarterback
If you are a team that needs a quarterback and aren't lucky enough to be picking in the top five, you are going to miss out on Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III.
Osweiler is a nice alternative heading into the combine. He has the size, arm strength and presence to be a good NFL quarterback.
He could easily end up being a first-round pick for a team that needs a signal-caller to build around. He has to show that he can be accurate throwing the ball, but all the other tangibles are there for him to be worthy of a first-day pick.
Alshon Jeffery, Wide Receiver
With so much talk about his weight and what is going on with it, there seems to be some doubt about what Jeffery is going to do at the combine.
The weight issue doesn't concern me, especially since he has shown that he is going to be in good shape this weekend.
Where his stock will drop is in the fact that he just isn't a first-round receiver. Jeffery has the ability to go and get the ball anywhere, but his speed is minimal and he doesn't get good separation from defensive backs.
Jeffery is going to be one of the players who falls out of the first round because his overall skills aren't as good as the college tape would have you believe.
