NFL Combine 2012: The 6 Best Twitter Accounts to Guide You Through the Event

Chris TrapassoJun 7, 2018

Need some go-to Twitter follows for this year's 2012 NFL Scouting Combine?

Look no further.

I've even sorted them into a convenient list for you

Yes, I'm nice like that.

Matt Miller: Bleacher Report (@nfldraftscout)

Bleacher Report's lead NFL draft writer has taken his talents to Indy. Well, his talent, along with his astonishingly insightful draft brain, his producer Paul and a reliable B/R camera guy.

Miller will have you covered from the first workout to the final 40-yard dash and will provide details on as many intriguing combine tidbits as he can find.

He'll post links to interviews and player press conferences, and will compose daily wrap-ups each evening.

Michael Lombardi: NFL Network (@michaelombardi)

Lombardi is a solid NFL Network source to always keep handy on your Twitter app. Since he's working with the popular network, you'll probably see him reporting from the field on TV this weekend, but he should deliver some quick notes via the social-networking site.

I expect him to piece together a daily post for NFL.com, too.

That'd be interesting.

Dane Brugler: NFLDraftScout.com (@dpbrugler

Brugler is an NFL draft analyst for NFLDraftScout.com, a partner with CBS Sports. He'll be in Indianapolis and sending out a myriad of tweets on the athletes' performances.

He's a quality evaluator and utilizes Twitter well.

Mike Sando: ESPN (@espn_nfcwest)

To me, Sando's one of the best divisional bloggers at ESPN, due to his crafty writing style and solid reporting skills.

He's currently making the trip to Lucas Oil Stadium and will be reporting/tweeting on scene all week. He frequently uses Twitter and will link all of his NFC West blog posts.

Like many of these guys, he'll be rubbing elbows with many teams' scouting departments.

A fine follow for this year's combine.

Josh Norris: Rotoworld (@JoshNorris)

Norris won't be in Indianapolis, but you need not worry. This guy is an NFL draft devotee and will be pouring his thoughts on the event into his Twitter account. He's an avid tweeter, and he'll provide a great deal of expert opinion on what's happening inside Lucas Oil Stadium.

He's very well-connected to highly respected media members and scouting-department personnel. If there's one person to follow who won't be on the field this week (besides me, of course), Norris is your guy.

Tony Pauline: SI (@TonyPauline)

I'm still looking to confirm that Pauline will indeed be in Indy this week, but I'd be stunned if he wasn't. Like Norris, he's an avid tweeter. Pauline has been in the NFL draft business for a long time and has a myriad of reliable sources that allow him to give individual team info.

He's extremely opinionated and bases a lot of his opinion on what he hears from his inside guys.
