WWE Elimination Chamber 2012: John Cena and Stars That Must Impress
While both of the WWE's top titles will be on the line on Sunday at the Elimination Chamber, the two champions have very little to prove. The same can not be said for other superstars, who have an awful lot to prove on Sunday.
In some cases, their future as a main-eventer or even in the WWE is on the line. In others, it's just gotten to the point where we need more of a change. Whichever group they fall in to, these stars can't afford to be complacent come Sunday.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
With Cena, the opportunity is there for him to show a bit more of an edge heading into WrestleMania against The Rock. Something is going to happen here because after the Ambulance Match, Cena's focus will squarely be on Rocky.
We need some edge here. While I would like to focus on some of the character stuff, I am also talking about the way he wrestles. Cena is always at his best when he is fighting with a sense of urgency and desperation. After Monday, he has all the reason to be aggressive.
Cena has shown more aggressiveness in his feud with Kane, but it has been too inconsistent. One week he destroys Kane. The next week, he's back to the same style that we've all grown used to—that has to change.
We need to see a tough character out of Cena. Going forth, his in-ring aggression will be what separates him from The Rock in their feud. That is an advantage that has to be exploited soon.
The Miz
I don't know exactly what it is, but something is terribly wrong with the Miz. He could once cut good promos and was better than average in the ring. Now, the guy can barely utter a clean sentence and is anything but solid in the ring.
In this format, there will always be something going on. When you are in the ring with multiple superstars, you will always have something to do to keep yourself busy. Miz can't squander this opportunity to prove he is still a real main-event talent.
His star has fallen incredibly far since WrestleMania XXVII. If the Miz can't find a way to pick himself up, his future with the WWE is not a bright one.
Kofi Kingston
To say that Kingston has had an inconsistent career in the WWE would be an incredible understatement. Just when it seems like he's close to a main-event run or even some time with one of the big titles, something happens and he's scarcely seen.
In a WWE title match that will allow him time to show his skills off, Kingston has to show the WWE and its fans that he can really "go" with some of the top names in the business. If Kingston can show his worth against the likes of CM Punk, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler, there is no reason to think that a real run at the top isn't going to be far behind.
Kingston is only 30, so there is still plenty of time for him to rise to the stop and stay there for a while. But in this spot, if Kingston can't show some toughness to hang with the big boys, its hard to imagine we'll ever see him beyond this role.
