MIA Halftime Show: NFL Must Be Conservative After Artist's Middle-Finger Salute
No one on the corner flips the bird like us.
While everyone was wondering if Madonna or Nicki Minaj would go Janet Jackson on the Super Bowl’s audience, M.I.A. instead threw up her middle finger to over 100 million people.
Because of the artist’s lack of better judgment, the NFL must become more conservative in who they choose to play at halftime.

The league would be absolutely nuts to allow a musical act that they hired say @#$% you to that many people without making major cautionary changes.
There are 6-year-olds who are going to be giving the middle finger to their kindergarten teachers tomorrow thanks to M.I.A. Either get ready to censor at any moment, which NBC wasn’t, or hire an artist that won’t take off their top or salute the audience with a single finger.

I don’t care if, gulp, Miley Cyrus and Justin Beiber have to be hired every single year to perform (I mean, hey, more time to grab snacks, right?), the league can’t continue to put together controversial halftime shows.
If Roger Goodell cares so much about the league’s image, it would be a wise idea to fix this huge issue. Not only does the finger hurt the NFL’s image, but it takes attention away from the players in the actual game that deserve it.
No one on the corner has swagger…or the stupidity, like M.I.A who selfishly decided to steal the show.
