Super Bowl Squares: Numbers to Bank on in Super Bowl Rematch
If you don't know anything about football, but still want to make some money during the Super Bowl, you've come to the right place.
Super Bowl Squares is a simple and fun way to appease the gambling addict in all of us. All you do is make a 10-by-10 grid and throw down some cash in exchange for a spot on the board. Winners are crowned at the end of each quarter based on the score.
For example, if New England leads 10-7 after the first quarter, whoever has the zero on the Patriots' axis and the seven on the Giants' axis will win some of the pot. If New York wins the game 27-24, whoever has the seven on the Giants' axis and four on the Patriots' axis will earn some dough as well.

The most common way to divide up the pot is to award 20 percent to the first three winners, with the remaining 40 percent going to whoever wins the fourth quarter.
How you get your spot on the board depends on your party's preference. But if you get to pick your spot, choose one of the following and take some of your friends' hard-earned cash.
7-0
According to caseyshead.com, 7-0 was the most common outcome in the 2011-2012 season, occurring 151 times in 1,064 quarters of football.
It's easy to see why this combo is the best. Teams often finish quarters with scores of 0, 7, 10, 17, 20 and 27.
3-0
A combination of 3-0 happened 124 times this season. It's not as good an option as 7-0, but you still have a great opportunity to win some cash. A 13-10 or 20-13 first-half score certainly isn't out of the question.
0-0
This one isn't as exciting, but you can get some cash on a scoreless first quarter and a 10-10 or 20-20 score at any point during the game.
You won't have a great shot in the later quarters if it's a high-scoring game, but you can take home some money early.
