EURO 2012: Power Ranking Teams Based on Their Kits
Football isn't about fashion but there can be some good-looking football kits on display.
Euro 2012 provides the 16 participating teams to bring out some new kit designs and look good on the pitch in two aspects.
Some of the teams have actually played in these kits before. We are looking at the best kits for each team, whether home and away.
Lets take a look and see who has the best kit in Euro 2012.
16. Greek Home Kit
1 of 16Pretty straight forward look from the Greeks here. There isn't any shirt, short and socks set that I've seen, but I would guess blue shorts and probably white socks.
This kit doesn't have a wow factor. The same could be said about the Greeks style of play.
15. Croatia Home Kit
2 of 16There is not much you can do with the Croatia kit. Same old look. It's always been an interesting one though.
The away top draws your eyes to the crest, but not necessarily in a good way.
14. Czech Republic Home Kit
3 of 16Tomas Rosicky looks happy. The design is simple enough and I think the crest fits in okay. Still not the best though.
13. Spain Home Kit
4 of 16This is the look we have seen from Spain over the last couple years. The shirt numbers are nice, as are the socks, but there is nothing that really stands out.
We know that won't be the case when they have the ball though.
12. Ukraine Home Kit
5 of 16The block across the middle adds something, not really sure what. This kit is okay, not great and not bad.
11. Denmark Home Kit
6 of 16There is a lot going on here but it doesn't really do it for me. The slashes on the shorts are interesting, but the shirt design has the usual stripes you would except from an Adidas kit.
10. Italy Home Kit
7 of 16I like the shiny aspect of the shirt and the collar's incorporation of Italy colors. The rest is business as usual with the white shorts and blue socks.
09. Germany Home Kit
8 of 16I like the shirt design. Adidas could have gone plain but the stripes are nicely done. They are not overbearing and are pretty neat. The shirt matches up well with the socks in that regard.
08. Portugal Away Kit
9 of 16The shirt design alone looks good. I can see this with green shorts and white socks. The cross-like design is interesting and the colors are well done.
07. Russia Home Kit
10 of 16The stripe kind of gives this jersey and old school feel. The design on the socks helps things along.
I didn't really like it at first, but maybe its just that red is my favourite colour.
06. France Away Kit
11 of 16For all its simplicity, this top is one that I really like. I could see France going with an all-white look with the blue stripes from the sleeves replicated on the shorts and socks. Or, just a plain white look alone would be nice.
05. Republic of Ireland Away Kit
12 of 16Similar to Portugal's jersey, if this was finished with a green shirt and white socks, the end result would be great. The stripe on the side again gives that kind of old school feel.
04. Sweden Away Kit
13 of 16The way that the yellow stripe continues down to the shorts and continues in the socks really puts this kit together.
A good job from Umbro here.
03. Poland Home Kit
14 of 16This is a pretty sleek look from Poland. The away jersey is the same with the shirt being fully red instead of white, and the other changes follow suit.
Numbers might appear in the middle block but they shouldn't take away from the look.
02. England Away Kit
15 of 16The colors are well distributed on this kit, and I am sure it looks even better at the start of a game. The collar could have just been dark blue but the light color was a good choice.
01. Holland Away Kit
16 of 16This is my favourite by far. Maybe it's because I didn't really expect it from Holland. I'm guessing the socks will be black with orange in there somewhere.
The overall look is just great and I would buy the jersey top straight away if given the chance. Looking forward to seeing Holland in these.
