2012 NFL Free Agents: WR and Deepest Positions in This Year's Class
The Super Bowl might be on every NFL fan's mind right now, but for 30 other teams, it's all about finding a way to make it there next season.
The NFL draft is a good way to do that, but free agency comes first in March. This year's free agency class seems more stacked than usual, as guys like Drew Brees, Ray Rice and Mario Williams headline the news.
Here's a look at what positions are the most stacked.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wide Receiver
At the top of the class would be Mike Wallace, but he's a restricted free agent, so him hitting the market is about as likely as Tom breaking up with Gisele.
Still, there's plenty of talent aside from Pittsburgh's speedster.
Dwayne Bowe, Wes Welker, Marques Colston and Vincent Jackson are all elite, available options. Don't be surprised if a team like the St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers or Jacksonville Jaguars come calling.
But the class doesn't stop there.
DeSean Jackson may be clinically insane, but there's no denying his talent. Stevie Johnson is another player in that mold. Reggie Wayne and Brandon Lloyd are getting up there in age but have still been productive.
Even Laurent Robinson and Robert Meachem, who are No. 10 and 11 in the class, could start for a lot of teams.
Running Back
The running back position doesn't have the type of depth that wide receiver has, but it is extremely top-heavy.
First, there's Ray Rice, one of the best young running backs in the league. He was tremendous as both a rusher and a pass-catcher this year for Baltimore. It's very unlikely he hits the market, as the Ravens will probably franchise tag him, but he's out there nonetheless.
Then you have Arian Foster, who has been the most productive back in the league for the past two years. He's a restricted free agent, but who knows what the Texans will do with so many other expensive free agents and a capable backup (Ben Tate) waiting in the wings?
After that is Matt Forte. If he didn't get injured this year, he was on his way to leading the league in total yards.
Marshawn Lynch, who had his best year of his career, is also available. The Seahawks would be foolish to let their Skittles-crazed RB go, but crazier things have happened.
The class drops off after that, though, as Peyton Hillis is the next best thing. The Madden cover-boy seems to have lost a step (or eight) this year, but could be had at a bargain.
Defensive End
Teams like the Houston Texans and New York Giants have shown that having a dominant defensive end can really make your defense scary. Unfortunately for the Texans, their star tops this list.
Mario Williams missed most of this season due to a torn pectoral muscle, but he remains one of the most dangerous defensive weapons in the league. The Texans almost have to franchise him to keep him around.
After Williams comes Calais Campbell and Cliff Avril, who have been dominant for the Cardinals and Lions.
Robert Mathis and John Abraham headline the "aging but still effective" group, while Cory Redding, Jeremy Mincey and Matt Roth round out the deep group.
