There is a long journey from being a promising high school recruit to becoming a star in the NFL, but some of these young men just have that look.
It’s hard to describe the look exactly, but the size, athleticism and skills these prodigies already possess at a young age just make it seem inevitable that they will be playing on Sunday’s in the near future.
Here are a few players that harbor these talents and have the look.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This dude is drawing comparisons to Terrell Owens and Randy Moss out of high school.
He’s a solid 6’6”, 220 pounds and just committed to Mizzou to play SEC ball in 2012.
This young man just broke the national high school receiving record with 6,447 career yards and shattered Missouri state records by pulling in 119 catches for 2,223 yards and 24 touchdowns his senior year.
It’s hard not to imagine him just destroying the competition in college and becoming a top pick in the NFL draft because of his incredible size, speed and talent.
Johnathan Gray
There is nothing you can ask for in a recruit that the future-Texas Longhorn star Johnathan Gray does not have.
He’s got some muscle to gain on his 5’10”, 205-pound frame, but has incredible quickness and footwork to compliment an already-thick body.
Gray knows how to find the hole and can make any cut to get there. He’s got downhill speed and is hard to bring down once he gets going.
The prospect is certainly going to be on many teams' draft radars once he starts seeing the field in Austin.
Mario Edwards
Florida State got themselves quite a player in Mario Edwards. You can’t teach size, and this kid certainly would not need any lessons if you could.
He’s a 6’4”, 300-pound defensive end who will eventually be a coveted pass rusher in the NFL.
Edwards has a variety of moves that will help him get to the passer and has a knack for making a play against the run.
He will be able to contribute early and could be a first-round NFL draft pick in just a few short years.
