Super Bowl Commercials 2012: Which Ads Will Stand Out?
The best part of the Super Bowl every year is the commercials. Since the teams playing in the game only appeal to a certain part of the country, the television spots drive the ratings over 100 million people every year. This year's crop of ads promises to be a very intriguing bunch.
Over the last few years, there have been a few standouts. The best one in recent memory was probably last year's Volkswagen ad with the little kid dressed as Darth Vader.
It will be interesting to see how this year's commercials stack up as a whole compared to other years' ads, but we have seen glimpses of some of the most anticipated ones already.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So which ones are going to be the talk around the water cooler the Monday after the Super Bowl?
Ferris Bueller Advertises for Honda
Look, we could go on and on about why Ferris Bueller would never actually sell out to shill for anyone. But when we get to see Matthew Broderick reprise his most famous role and one of the most iconic characters of the last 25 years, who cares how or why we get to see it.
Not everything about this reeks of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. There is no Cameron or Sloane, Broderick is actually referred to by his name and not the character's name, and Principal Rooney is not there to try and disrupt the day.
That said, the subtle nuances that the directors put into this ad, and seeing Broderick open the blinds and say, "How can I handle work on a day like today?" is enough to make you think back to the magic that John Hughes created in 1986.
Jerry Seinfeld Goes All Out for Acura
I will admit it, I have never been the biggest fan of Seinfeld. I was too young to get into it when it first aired, and the few episodes I have watched have not blown me away.
However, I am not stupid enough to disregard what Jerry Seinfeld and his show mean to so many people.
This ad features him bringing back the Soup Nazi, which is enough to make this spot worth it.
The only thing holding it back is the appearance of Jay Leno at the end. There might be worse late-night talk show hosts out there, but he is so bad that anything he touches turns to garbage.
Will Arnett for Hulu AdZone
Look, there are probably going to be funnier commercials or ones that go down in the annals of time as far superior to the one that Will Arnett does for Hulu. In fact, looking at the ad, there is not much to it.
However, at the 23-second mark, Arnett slams his hand against the wall, stares into a security camera and does his best GOB Bluth "COME ON!" That single line launches this ad into the stratosphere.
If you don't know what I am talking about, I feel sorry for you. If you want to know, here is a special clip for you.
Coca-Cola Bears Watch Super Bowl XLVI
In addition to their ad where one of the Polar Bears for Coca-Cola does its best Lynn Swann impression, there is actually a website that you can go to in order to see how they react to this year's game.
It is an ingenious strategy to get people to go online, as there will be one bear rooting for New England and another rooting for New York.
So even if you don't care for the game, you can watch two animated bears wear their emotions on their sleeve. The spot is really well done and has a family-friendly feel to it, unlike some of the spots you will see this year.
