The Buffalo Bills will enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed for the third consecutive year following a 40-14 victory over their division foes, the New York Jets.

MVP candidate Josh Allen tossed two touchdowns and tallied 182 yards in the air, before backup Mitch Trubisky entered the game late and threw one pass, a 69-yard touchdown to Tyrell Shavers.

The Bills defense showed up and out, intercepting Aaron Rodgers twice and collecting four sacks and a safety.

It was a one-sided game from the start and served as an emphatic message to the rest of the AFC that the conference title may well go through Buffalo this year.

With an explosive offense that made a relatively good Jets defense look like Swiss cheese and a smothering defense that held Rodgers to zero points, the Bills look the part of the conference's best team. They proved it by hanging the sole loss of the Chiefs' season on them.

If nothing else, they are the squad no other team wants to come up against in the postseason if it hopes to have any semblance of a Super Bowl run.

Washington Clinches, Rams Win NFC West

The Washington Commanders secured their playoff spot Sunday night by defeating the Atlanta Falcons in overtime, 30-24, following a touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels to tight end Zach Ertz.

Not only did the Commanders ensure their own date in the postseason, they also sealed the NFC West for the Los Angeles Rams, who completed a comeback from 1-4 through the first five games of the season to make the playoffs and win their division.

Washington's victory was the last piece of a puzzle that started for the Rams with Cincinnati's win over Denver on Saturday, their own victory over Arizona later that night, Buffalo's dismantling of the Jets on Sunday, and Minnesota's win over Green Bay.

With that, there are only two questions left in the NFC: Who wins the North and South divisions?

The Falcons, despite their loss, are still in contention for the NFC South crown but will need a win and a Tampa Bay defeat to make it happen.

In the North, Detroit, and Minnesota will clash for the right to call themselves champions and secure the No. 1 overall seed in the conference while the losing team will drop to the fifth seed.
