C.J. Stroud Says Texans Fans Are 'Entitled to Their Opinions' After Boos vs. Ravens
C.J. Stroud says he understands why fans booed him and the Houston Texans during their Christmas Day loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
"People are entitled to their opinions and they care about the game. Their emotions matter, so I understand," Stroud said, per NBC Sports' Michael David Smith. "This is not my first time and it probably won't be my last.
"This is not something to internalize and point the finger at yourself but it is something that you can use to motivate you, to not want those moments anymore."

Stroud went 17-of-31 for 185 yards, no touchdowns and an interception as the Texans were held to two points in the holiday loss.
"I got plenty of football left in my career hopefully, God willing, and I know this is going to be a story I'll tell one day that helps me in the long run," Stroud said.
The loss marked the continuation of Stroud's struggles to match the pass accuracy that won him Offensive Rookie of the Year last season.
After throwing 23 touchdown passes with five picks in his rookie campaign, Stroud has seen that ratio worsen to 19 touchdowns with 12 interceptions so far this season.
With the Texans staring down a 15-point deficit at the break and looking to launch a comeback attempt in the second half, Stroud was picked off in the first drive of the third quarter on Wednesday.
The Texans offense was held to 211 total yards in the loss, and the only score of the game came on a safety. Houston finished the game as the first team since 2013 to score just two points in a contest.
"Terrible on my behalf, you know? Probably one of the worst games of my whole career," Stroud said after the loss. "Just came out flat, didn't have any energy. Didn't leave the offense where I should have. So, I always got to look at myself in the mirror, be honest with myself, and it's not good enough today."
The Texans already clinched the AFC South in Week 15. Stroud will look to bounce back from the dispiriting Week 17 loss as Houston prepares to finish out the regular season against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Jan. 5.
