Patrick Mahomes Says Andy Reid 'Fits the Role' of Santa 'Perfectly' After Chiefs' Win
The Kansas City Chiefs got in the holiday spirit after a Christmas Day victory.
The Chiefs earned a 29-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday to improve to 15-1 on the season and clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Following the win, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight Travis Kelce received "Christmas custom coats" while head coach Andy Reid donned a Santa Claus suit, even if Mahomes said Reid's figure is getting a little skinnier than a traditional Santa.

"He fits the role perfectly, he's getting kind of skinny though," Mahomes said. "He's getting kind of skinny for Santa...it's good for his health so he will be a skinny Santa."
The Chiefs are seeking a third consecutive Super Bowl trophy and earning home-field advantage helps that quest significantly. This is the second time in the last three seasons that the Chiefs have earned the top seed and the team hasn't lost at home since last season's Christmas Game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Mahomes went 29-of-38 for 320 yards and three touchdowns while Kelce had eight catches for 84 yards and a touchdown, setting the franchise record for receiving touchdowns in the process. The Chiefs defense forced two turnovers and recorded five sacks in the win as well.
Kansas City will approach Week 18 with some extra rest and then enter a bye week before taking on their Divisional Round opponent. Before that, however, it looks like the Chiefs will look to spread some more holiday cheer with their new apparel.
