Jayden Daniels Celebrates Clutch Plays vs. Eagles: 'That's What You Live for'
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels says he "lives for" moments like his last-second touchdown pass against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The pass capped off the 57-yard drive Daniels led down the field in the final two minutes to complete the Commanders' comeback victory.
"I love those types of situations," Daniels said, per ESPN's John Keim. "Those are when it's on thin ice and plays need to be made. That's what you live for.

A.J. Brown Deal Not 'Firm'
"If you really love the sport you live for those big-time moments where it comes down to the end, everything's against you, your back is against the wall. How will you respond?"
The victory marked the first time Daniels has thrown five touchdown passes in a single game for the Commanders. His fifth of the night was the nine-yard throw to Jameson Crowder that sealed the Washington victory.
The Eagles, who had not allowed more than two passing touchdowns to an opponent all season, led by as much as 21-7 in the second quarter and looked well on their way to clinching the NFC East as the Commanders struggled with turnovers.
But with Jalen Hurts sidelined with a concussion suffered in the first quarter, the Eagles were unable to find a response to Daniels.
This marks the second time Daniels has led his team to a last-second victory this season. He also earned the Commanders a walk-off win with a 52-yard Hail Mary completion to Noah Brown in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.
Daniels is now the first NFL rookie in history to complete multiple go-ahead touchdown passes in the final 30 seconds of regulation, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
That stat will help Daniels' contention for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, as well as help keep the Commanders in playoff contention. A win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17 will help Washington come one step closer to returning to the postseason for the first time since 2020.
