Aaron Rodgers: Jets Will See Who's on Board, Who's Ready to Get Out Over Last 2 Games
As the New York Jets faced their 11th defeat of the season on Sunday in a 19-9 loss against the Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is interested to see how the team responds to the remainder of the season.
"The last two weeks we can really see who's on board moving forward and who is ready to get out," Rodgers told reporters after the game. "It's just part of the game. I've been on a couple of teams where we were out of it and its been interesting to watch the practice habits, the preparation habits. Hopefully we'll do the right thing and that means a lot because everybody is watching and it's a who you know business."

Rodgers and the Jets sit third in the AFC East and have been effectively eliminated from playoff contention.
The 41-year-old veteran emphasized the importance of the Jets handling their final two weeks with the utmost professionalism, despite having nothing to play for after missing out on postseason play.
"There will be interesting conversations in the next couple of weeks, but just focus on the relationships that we have with each other and trying to finish the thing out like a pro," Rodgers said post game. "It's not to change the reality of the situation being 4-11 out of the playoffs, going into an unknown offseason. We got to figure out what it means to be a professional. I think that's an important part of building culture."
New York's season record is on the brink of being its worst since 2021, when the Jets finished 4-13 and last in the AFC East. This has prompted rumors about the team making significant changes in the offseason, with speculation about players potentially leaving the struggling squad.
The aging Rodgers is also remaining coy about his future with the Jets and in the NFL, fueling speculation about whether he will return for another season or call it quits. He added that he thinks the team is past positive thoughts and evaluated the locker room energy in the only way Rodgers can—through bohemian and philosophical reflection.
"I think we're kind of past the keeping it positive thing/ I thinks it's just about perspective," Rodgers said post game. "Your perspective informs your truth and your truth makes your reality so the reality of the situation is what it is. But your perspective is something that you can change every single day, so what you're focusing on is the most important thing now."
