Terry McLaurin on Commanders' Comeback Win vs. Saquon, Eagles: 'We Never Flinch'
After the Washington Commanders' stunning 36-33 victory over the red-hot Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, wide receiver Terry McLaurin had high praise for his team and head coach Dan Quinn.
"That's why I love DQ (Dan Quinn), he just knows the right things to say and I love playing for a coach like that," McLaurin told reporters after the game. "We never flinch and no matter what the score looks like, we had like what–four or five turnovers and that's not our standard at all, we'll get that cleaned up, but to win this game when there was a lot of ebbs and flows, it speaks to the resilience in the culture that we're building here."

McLaurin had 60 yards on five receptions for one touchdown in the victory. Rookie Jayden Daniels also had a standout game, completing 24-of-39 passes for 258 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions in the victory.
Quinn added to McLaurin's sentiments on how tough his team is. On Friday, Quinn told reporters, "If you want to be a contender, you have to beat some heavy hitters."
Following Sunday's gutsy victory, Quinn acknowledged one of his players for achieving that feat.
"He (Jayden Daniels) became a heavy hitter today," Quinn told reporters.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts exited the game in the first quarter and was ruled out with a concussion. Kenny Pickett took over for the five-year veteran and held his own, throwing for 143 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Washington improved to 10-5, sitting second in the NFC East and seventh in the NFC, holding the final Wild Card position.
With the win, the Commanders eliminated Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys from playoff contention and ended the Eagles' 10-game win streak.
