Josh Reynolds Waived by Broncos After Injured Reserve Practice Window Ends
The Denver Broncos announced Tuesday they waived wide receiver Josh Reynolds.
Reynolds hasn't played since Week 5 and was on injured reserve. While the Broncos designated him for return to practice ahead of the team's Week 11 game against the Atlanta Falcons, his 21-day practice window was about to expire.
That meant the team either had to move him to the active 53-player roster this week or keep him on injured reserve to keep him but instead chose to waive him.

Jeff Legwold of ESPN noted Denver could bring the receiver back to its practice squad if he clears waivers Wednesday, although he would be a free agent if he goes unclaimed and could sign elsewhere.
Reynolds, who signed a two-year deal worth $9 million with the Broncos ahead of the season, suffered a fractured finger during the team's win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 6.
He appeared in five games, which means Denver will pay him $4.245 million guaranteed.
Legwold noted Reynolds was also injured during a shooting in Denver in October. Police said he suffered "non-life threatening" injuries to his head and left arm in the incident that led to the arrest of two men who were charged with six counts of first-degree attempted murder, six counts of first-degree assault and additional felonies.
The veteran receiver has also played for the Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions since he was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft.
His best individual season came last year with the Lions when he posted 40 catches for 608 yards and five touchdowns. Through five games this season, he tallied 12 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown.
The Broncos didn't have a ton of room on their active roster for another receiver, as Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr., Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele are all active parts of their rotation.
Vele and Franklin are both rookies, while Mims is in his second season.
